Hi guys,

I have 5 unused skill points in my knight.

My bash and aura strike still lv1. - yes i leveled up without maxing them -

Concentration lv.0

Which skill should be better max out? Bash, Aura St or Concentration?

Here is the skill tree for reference

Another question... Is shield fortress really necessary?

But that's your bread and butter, sweetheart. :<
You're practically using these two skills all the time with your knight. Bash builds up precious Aura and can be spammed anytime until releasing the Aura through Aura Strike or Shield Cannon when off cooldown. If I wouldn't have maxed these two skills, then surely others would out-threaten me later when running raids or dungeons on hard mode. Sure your main task isn't dealing high amounts of damage, but you need at least some decent damage outputs to keep aggro on the mobs. Aura Armor alone isn't enough to keep the threat.

AND CONCENTRATION IS USELESS FOR A TANK. 'nuff said.
Since you're focus isn't DPS I'm assuming you're going for Tank or Off-Tank.

Personally I would recommend skilling (or even maxing!) Shield Fortress.
Reason: This skill can save butts. You may not need it early in the game when running normal dungeons, but later you'll be happy to have it. Just imagine all your party members are close to death except you. Your HP is enough to survive a few seconds or even minutes and you have currently aggro on the mob. Use Shield Fortress to decrease the damage you and the others are gaining while the priest/sorc heals or revives the rest of the peeps. This scenario happened to me more than just once and I'm always happy to survive a boss rather than dying millions of times on him.

Well, hope I could help.

Just because your focus isn't DPS doesn't mean you wont level your damage skills. My knight's got full colo set and it surprises me sometimes how close some DPS's aggro is with mine especially with them having end game gears so you might wanna consider that.

My advice would be taking off some of those points from shield charge since it is mostly a pvp skill and maxing bash and AS. I assume you are not doing pvp with core damage skills both at level 1.

Concentration is mostly for hybrid knights. I personally took it and lvl 5 shield charge to do well in pvp. If you are pure tank you probably wont need it. I started off as a pure tank but i found it quite boring to play so I decided to add some "spices" to my build.

If reset is out of the question I'd max bash over AS.

Thanks..

I was considering that with concentration i d take 20% more damage in both - bash and AS - using only 5 skill points ... but a penalty 10% more damage.

Received damage generates threat?

Between bash and aura strike im thinking put bash as you said... cause the most part of the damage form AS come from the 3 auras and not from the skill leveling.

In fact i can left shield charge at lv 1... but i didnt tell you before xD, cause i like colo.

Appreciated your help.

I'd keep Shield Charge at lvl 1.. Max Bash and Aura Strike.. then you're good to go

And yes Shield Fortress is the main reason a Knight will be preferred over other tank classes. That skill if used properly will save the whole raid party from wiping in the crucial moments. Shield Fort + Aura Shield can make you survive some nasty boss AOE in some moments.
