So I'm starting to feel like I've hit a wall on my priest, but I know there's still a lot of content out there I haven't seen yet. I've finished my bapho/pve(N) set, got my STCs, Colo Shoes and Accessories. The next logical step I thought would be start joining Bapho and PvE Hard raids but so far I haven't found one raid group that will take me. I thought with the equips I have I'd least hit the low end of what's required to do them, but with raid leaders consistently asking for 200-700 more HP (with VIT potion) than I have I'm not sure what else I can do to get myself up to that level without making Hard Mode redundant.

Do I just keep grinding the Normal mode raids until I get enough Victor's Points to buy stuff from the CoA Point Shop? Do I spend my time trying to upgrade my STCs to Normal+? Do I RHD for cash until I can buy enhanced runes? Or am I just getting unlucky with the raids I'm soliciting?

It's true, requirements are sometimes too high nowadays. :p_sad:

But Bapho and Arena hard-modes are a little redundant since the introduction of CoA. You might as well skip them and move straight to CoA. However CoA parties often ask for Colo weapon, consider trying to get it (or Bapho weapon). Unlike VIP card, Colo weapon will give you a real boost, and powerful heals and Renovatio are very needed in CoA. I'd also recommend switching to STC Normal+, this is indeed important.

I do have a Bapho(N) weapon, the accessories and shoes took a large bite out of my BP so it'll be some time before I can upgrade that to a colo weapon. I'm not sure if I can get into CoA since the requirements seem to be even higher than Bapho(H). The last person I asked wanted 7.2k minimum. I guess I'll take your suggestion and focus on scraping together enough zeny to fill out my card slots with STC+.

Wish me luck. Although I do have one more question while the thought occurs to me. In the absence of a colo weapon, would you say it's worth it to invest in the karnium to upgrade my Bapho Weapon a couple of times? Or will raid leaders typically not care and just boot me for not having colo?

I recommend that you find a guild who doesn't care much about health requirements.

Or find some people you raid with before so you have more connections to others who raid.

Colo weapon will definitely make your job easier for healing and surviving. STC+ can help a lot too, but it's better to make connections rather than working extremely hard to improve your priest.

VIP is also an option, but I won't say it's required. Skill and knowing your team is more valued than health and a few stats.

Hmm. You must be unlucky, I've easily joined CoA random parties with just 6.6k hp. As long as you can keep yourself alive it'll be no problem. In fact I've purchased a VIP card only 3 days ago, and I've done so for my own convenience only (to drink less pots during runs :p_angel: ).

By no means 7k is a necessary requirement for a priest. Good luck! :)

Karnium is a very expensive material. I believe it makes no sense to waste your money on weapon which you will replace as soon as you get enough blood points for Colo. But if you can afford the price - sure, why not?

Never Ever Ever upgrade non colo weapons, it's a total waste because you will replace them very fast.

My suggestion is to find a guild and join it. We run Bapho/PvE H with sub 6k HP people on a regular basis because we're trying to gear them up so I know for a fact there will be other guilds who would do the same. Heck, we even ran CoA N with a 5k hp sorc and 6k hp priest and we were fine. Organisation > Super high HP.

But of course, having both makes things ALOT easier.

Pugs usually require absurd amounts of gear/HP just to do it. I would personally look for a guild and skip the farming. If you're in PvE/Bapho gear, you can do all of PvE/Bapho hardmode.
