the legit players like me "which also $$$$ this place" will quit if the exploiters are not permabanned :3. your move, creep.

If the "legit players" who spend $$$$ have not quite already trust me this will not do it lol. Anyone who is left won't leave for any reason, unless another RO title breaks ground?

You are someone who don't think about the situation properly. Probably self centered, but that's not the case here.

Variable degrees of exploit deserve variable degrees of punishment.

I put quite a bit of cash in the game, and I'm not all "*cries* They didn't ban everyone! I'm gonna quit! *cries*".

Not everyone is an evil person.

The exploiters are the ones in the wrongdoing and by lights justice they will get whats coming to them. Also trading bounds is one of the most damaging exploits in the game bar the old zeny exploit so demanding bans is not being "evil". Why would you defend them? The only reason i can think of is you are one who purchased some of their black market goods.

Ah.... How i'm defending them if I said they should be punished in some shape or form?

My main sorc is full colo, still full colo after the exploit rampage, no items purchased.

I'm just not being an extremist and thinking it on a more logical way. If you want to play on an empty server, it is your choice. Giving people who did a lesser exploitation of the bug should be given a second chance (remove the items they obtained, it is that simple). It won't destroy the server or anything. Lesson learned, chance to move on. Kinda like... a fair trial?

If you go medieval without giving consideration and options, pretty much you're gonna lose.

How would you feel if you bought an item that was dupped (and you didn't know) and you got your account wiped? You would rage, etc etc. This vision of "just shoot it without thinking another way" won't do any good.

The only case I would rage would be if someone who made zeny (or tried to) would be left alive and kicking without any kind of punishment.

Didnt know? The items clearly state cannot trade, theres no excuse. Yeah players who bought items will mostly likey not get banned they will arrive to find their character stripped buck nakid though. Still i do expect the sellers to be banned at least.

A complete wipe is exactly like a ban. Those players will quit anyway.

I said quite a number of times that those who tried to coin in with the exploit deserve nothing less than a ban. Those are getting banned, and will be as more show up. This is certain. They are the worst offenders in the exploit situation.

I do sadly feel kind of a selfish air on this topic that makes me feel sad...

Standard policy.

Caught botting= character wipe.

Zeny Buying = character wipe(first offense?)

Maybe abusers will think twice before trying to gain an unfair edge over the honest playerbase. Bound items are in place to keep the game at least semi competitive overall and mostly importantly it keeps people playing the damn game. If you want an edge over everyone else you can purchase stuff from the kafra shop just dont think you can pay to win and pay to play as well. Thats what buying bound items is it's pretty much paying for someone elses time spent in the game.

Zeny purchase is removal of zeny quantity and a warning note for the first time, not a character wipe as far as I know. But for that case, it is far worse than the normal offense.

Normally it'd be a suspension first before a permanent ban though. I'd give them another chance, but there should be no "next time" after that. Not punishing for bug exploits means people will get the general idea that people shouldn't be afraid of exploiting bugs in the game to get ahead. You do not want this kind of scenario. That's where it just gets worse. At that point, people in most of the community would just consider it normal to the point it's beyond saving if the GMs do decide to hand out punishments.

Should the same be applied over the dozen of players that "exploids" Humbaba, pets and a lot of other faulty mechanics in the game?

I see a lot of people trying to talk from the above without even realizing they got themselves some stuff taking advantage of the bugs in the game.

I don't see fair that most of the player base who stuck through the bugs and crappy stuff (capes anyone?) to get now slapped on the face by other people that instead of making colo everyday for months, got their colo gear basically for free and not even talking about the large bags, resets and stuff.

Some people (like me) haven't exploided this bug, and are just waiting for the reaction to this issue to make a pick and decide to look for another game or not.

Probably without the Colo event this issue wouldn't even be this big.

Ive seen games that will ban you for using a curse word in game, granted that was 10 years ago.. Terms of service pretty much covers them no matter what they choose so fit to do. However this does not mean the rules are not broken non stop every day as far as Terms of Service goes. Just depends simply on what is decided by Warp Portal. We can roughly assume that bans will be given out on a scale of person by person basis, per what was mentioned earlier participation of this bug will result in bans. That being said if you choose so to participate in said bugs you know the risk and you will either be lucky or unlucky (factor in how many others know your using the bug and your involvement).

Why should we censor their names if the evidence is clear enough lol.

Anyway, Here I am, still having a hard time to get colo equips in all my 3 characters (2 needs 3 more parts, one needs four parts), then somehow, a wild Crescentia/Soulmaker with Full Colo equip appears?

That's WOW, just WOW ...

Now, rumors said 70-90% of the population did these exploit, that's why I kinda doubt if WP will ban all of these people, that will be a big loss on the community, as well as WP's $.$ right? Well whatever happens, I hope it will be for the greater good of the community.

I know this is about exploit  trade bug but it really sucks when you get an item from one of your characters on the SAME account but you can't use that item on another character because it's bound.

The real reason that did this is so people can BUY more bag space or storage, not to make sure something is not exploit.  Some thing should be done about this because this just proves how greedy that are about money and want whats best for them and not us.

I'm fan of the idea to allow transferring untradable items between characters on a same account (not by using the trade exploit, but a new ingame system that allows that).

Some people might say "it is bad", but isn't you, the account owner, that will do all the work anyway?

If all they think is money, then they are doing something wrong. More chars the player can play with, more the chance people will get to use them more often and then buy more super large bags, kafra expansions and so on.

Well, those guys selling untradeables is back in Alberta again. And the weird part is, I'm pretty sure I've seen that seller before (either a few days ago or today) so that person isn't banned yet.

Obviously they were not the ones who obtained it, but why not track it down right now and stop it from the source? Is something really being done to prevent this?

It certainly is possible the bug has sparked a surge in sales recently, could be a reason to hold off on banning at least. I've actually seen it done before in other games where  people were allowed to continue bug abuse and later bans were issued.

I feel like an idiot .... I'll be the only one who does not take advantage of the bug? XD
i I must Asher now? and most have full team colo i free money :(

I hope this beyond a solution for those who do not abuse the bug. I was tempted several times to buy something that was not right .. you know how hard it is to get 780BP in colo? the event is more frustrating to a ... a box ramdom? I do with a lot of weapons clothes that I can not sell or Survey ... everything ends in oris i ELUS .. no thanks.

my storage i will continue stockpiling weapons armor ... mercy least someone legally be tradeable.

Exploiting the damn bug is wrong but it has some reasons under:
- 90% Gear is untradable
- There's no account wide storage

I'm not sayint it's okay to exploit the game, I'm saying that there's reasons that lead SOME PEOPLE to use this crap (Yes, I know that there's people actually selling them just to get some delicious zeny).
I don't think they all will be banned, at least 10% of them will be banned, because this game has lost many users because of the bugs and I think a lot of the people who abused this also got KP to get to the game more easily.
In my opinion, GMs are kinda desperate right now, and that's why they are giving Drake costumes like crazy trying to shut the mouths of the annoyed players that farmed Drake for hours with no real benefits.

Lol, I know that feel, had to waste BP on rings and a Necklace because I always got the tank one.
I wish I could change my class to Warrior, because I'd be like... without the helmet only.
The event is very frustrating and a lot of times I've been about to rage-close the game because of I had to wake up at 4am to play a colo the whole week and also now I see newbies doing RHD with colo weapon and 5k HP buffed.
But on the other hand, it is a good way to motivate the people to PvP and get equip easily.

That feel when no colo equip and a ton of untradable Karnium to be unused.
