I just thought i'd post this here since I found it useful comparing them.

Cleric summons. The % listed is your base stat before buffs (rounded up to whole numbers).

Sword (25)
maxHP 135%
ATK 70%**
acc 150%
Def 50%
MD 50%
Dodge 50%
Crit 22%

Earth elemental (45)
maxHP 250%
atk 76%
acc 79%
def 102%
MD 92%
dodge 58%
Crit 22%

Fire elemental (45)
maxHP 190%
atk 88%
acc 98%
def 62%
MD 76%
dodge 72%
crit 22%

Firegon (55)
maxHP 170%
atk 99%
acc 80%
def 100%
MD 170%
dodge 140%
crit 22%

Ice Dragon (75)
maxHP 450%
ATK 160%
acc 100%
def 145%
MD 140%
dodge 30%
crit 22%

I don't know what the healing rates on bonfire/salamander are based on, but at lvl 145 with 8753 HP, bonfire healed ~300hp every couple seconds and salamander healed 600-700 every few seconds. Healing passives didn't affect the heal rate. Could be based on maxHP, level, charm, who knows? (actual question)

**Swords atk is a bit deceptive if your using wallop charm, since the static portion gets added to each sword, so greatly increases the DPS gap between swords and ice dragon or other summons, esp if your getting abuff from a proper support cleric.

Do elementals and dragons also get attack increase with buffs? If they do won't they always be better than swords?

Unless of course you mean that 3 swords (75) will be better than 1 Ice Dragon (75).

Also, what is the max summoning gauge you can have without having items that increase it further?
