Thanks for the info!
(now I just have to hope that they don't get to the custom, or I'll have to wait another 1-2 weeks x_x they're so slow here...)

"Oh, look! This box is full of expensive figurines!"Customs, huh....
"Ooh, my daughter's looking for one of those. Let's grab a few."
*steals*
"Crap, now what are we going to do?"
"Uh, look at the return address. Maybe we can tell the company to ship more because some went missing."
"Yeah. Wouldn't want the messengers to get blamed, now do we?"
*2 months later*
"Here's your figures! It was stuck at customs this whole time!"

People could use some weight loss. If it forces people to eat less for a week in order to buy this figurine, then I don't see why they shouldn't indulge in some guilty pleasure.I don't know why people waste so much money on these stuff instead buying bread and some food...

you wait for weeks for your package, than you get a latter that you have to come to the nearest custom office within 10 days at horrible open times...
You have to take proof's of your payment with you (mostly because the value isn't correctly on the outside and they can't calculate it...) and have to open it in front of a custom staff.
All of the people working there that I met till know were very... VERY slow... in both, acting and talking...
it's fun, but horrible annoying XD

A friend of mine moved to Sweden for a while and ordered a laptop while he was there, the customs ripped it open and he had to pay them like 800$ to even get it.

The end of December. Forgot if it was the 30th or 31st, but I think it was Dec. 31.Heim said compensation would be given even if the figures got delivered. And I think these were supposed to ship in December...

It depends on what shipping Grav's picking for their international shipping, really. =\ Don't think it'll be a month wait unless you live in like China or something.
You underestimate Gravity's ability to pick the worst shipping option available. I waited in excess of 6 weeks for the old, old deviruchi t-shirt back in what, 2006? And then there was the agonizing wait for the OSTs every time they decided to ship them off in bulk after the MVP card raffles? I won't bet on seeing my figurine til late March. That way, if it does come early, I will be pleasantly surprised, rather than wait the typical 2 weeks and then bang my head on the wall when my figurine hasn't arrived.

Japan really know how to merchandise stuff. Especially in the way that *everything* is "limited". They always only do a limited amount then take them out of production. Not to mention the ones you can only get through some special website/magazine/coupon/festival/event. And every year its a relenltess neverending stream of releases. I had to give it up personally due to money and eventually you run out of space.
Still compared to some things they do retain their value and also can increase in value (due to going out of production).

And certain people like to buy three copies while other peoples have none cause of the selfish people whoring the already limited supply.
Japanese have gone too far, now with limited edition in which people have to queue up just to enter a draw in order to have a chance at getting chance to buy an "A" ranked item.
What about the rest of the world ? T_T
EDIT: Left over D rank items.

By necessity we need to choose the shipping that is least expensive that offers the tracking. I'm not too worried about domestic shipping, but the international is difficult to get tracking numbers to work.
v.vU well when I won the DVD set, took a long time... .___. it arrived the day I was moving to a diferent house D=... and I used to live 4-6 hours away of the headquarters at the time...
Still, I live near I-10 so I can still go and stalk you in the windows/wall or hamster water feeder D= in a few hours so I hope it doesn't take almost two months again
