A Draconian and Their.. Contest! Design a New Pet!

It's time for another art filled contest! As most of you know, Dragon Saga is filled with a myriad amount of cute/awesome pets~ BUT we were thinking... we want to see more! Who doesn't want to see Port of Winds covered with a variety of pets!  It's your chance now to show off your drawing/art skills by creating the next new cutest/awesome-est pet for Dragon Saga!  Expend your imagination and think of a different version of a current pet or a completely new pet!  Not only be the envy of your peers with your awesome art skills but your pet could also be put in-game as well!*

Contest Deadline ::

The Contest starts November 20th, 2013 and the entries will not be taken after December 11th, 2013!

How do I submit my entry ::

• Please create a new thread with the subject line being In-game name costume name. (EX: AgentMeow's Pet 2013)
• In the thread please include the following: Pet Name, Description of how you would verbally describe your new pet, any stats you would like to see on the pet.
• Pets must be ORIGINAL design, but inspiration can come from anywhere. (Please do not submit Copyrighted work, Dragon Saga related material is fine for inspiration but drawing must be original)
• Drawing of pets must be from at least three angles (front/back and side view), and in color.
• You can submit as many entries as you would like, however only one entry can win.
• The larger the image is the easier it is to see the detail, hand drawn is fine, but must be scanned into a computer pic format (jpg, png etc). We do have photoshop so PSD can be accepted. If you are a 3d minded person and prefer to work in that mode, please just take a system screenshot of the model in the program and use the photo as the basis for judging.

The Top 3 Designs will win

• If and when the pet is created you'll receive a free pet that you created! (Just for 1st place.)

• Free Pet of your choice! (Restrictions may apply)

Voting will be done just by the GM team and Gravity team. This will be done to avoid drama.

(If you are found submitting different entries on different accounts or any ill-mannered doings, you will be disqualified)

Reduce the unnecessary drama

I'm not sure why you would feel bad.. You should join! Everyone should join.

I guess this contest just didn't get many entries because it didn't get it's own contest subforum like the fashion contest one. This caused the contest to be harder to find, well at least I had this problem ;w; .. or maybe people were just like I CANNOT DRAW ANIMALS/PETS I WON'T BOTHER JOINING xD

idk these are just ''possible things'' why this contest didn't get so popular ;w;

Ohwell I wonder what the next contest will be like ^^ and let's hope it will get more entries~ 

i think it's mostly cause the server is really inactive at this point, less and less people are playing. It's hard to see more than a handful of people in each channel.

I think it's nearly impossible for most people to not only figure out a cute/creepy/funny original idea pet that fits into dragon saga without it being looked as "Seen it in this game/movie/anime/comic".

And then once you've done that... you need to do the front, side and back, plus add stats and description.

People would've joined if all they had to do was "Design a pet just the front." you know. It's easier and if they ever decide to make any of them real, they can just "work" with the winner and ask them for the extras. I don't know. Make it easier for people to join. I have an easy time drawing and this was still challenging because of time, I had to basically turn in 15 minute sketches because work and life didn't let me do any better ,_,

Yes I guess the reason this contest lacked entries is pretty much a combination of these things ;w; 

-This game is dying

-This contest wasn't very easy 

The fashion design contest had much more entries while the game was already quite dead back then.. so I think this contest was also a bit hard for people to get started on it

I also had to rush my entry, I have been busy with school lately :x
