Hey Jerremy, how much dodge does one need to actually make people miss a significant amount?
Don't know who to target? Target everyone: The spear champion.

When I play my dual raider, I still get hit quite often even with 4000 dodge. So I would say for a champion it is near impossible to get enough dodge to actually make people miss. but I'd say 3000 and over is what you need in order for people to actually miss significantly.
In PVM you won't need as much, and it is plausible, but in PVP it is not really a choice.

when you say u get hit quite often.... is this every class that hits u? and also by often do you mean like 50% of the time, more or less?

Well, in the chaos that is a group war it is hard to see how many attacks miss and how many attacks hit. You do see quite a lot of blue misses but that doesn't change the fact that four hits could very well be lethal.
Raiders miss me quite often, but they don't care since they hit so much, it's enough to kill, mages hit practically always, champs depends on build, but often miss rather than hit. BC's hit practically always, scouts/dealers do miss sometimes but hit enough to kill.

When you SS'd the PvP longinus strike, what was your STR and CHA?

That was at 495str 310cha.
Note: the AoE one at this lvl of cha would only be 15%+142.

Hey Jeremmy, does the new attack speed nerfs have any significant affect on your build? Since auto attacking has somewhat been nerfed, skill attacks have been indirectly nerfed, is it more effective now just to spam aoes/skills instead of auto attacking? Also what about soldier buffs... do we get those now?

I haven't played much spear champ recently, so I can't make a 100% accurate statement about this, but your build won't change much at all. You might want to drop the attack power down shout (fights are already going on endlessly as it is, so it shows that the ap down isn't that necessary) and get maybe selfbuffs, but they won't be much (if at all) stronger than a clerics buffs. Getting single target skills might be good, although I only recommend using longinus strike. The rest has too low skill power to even compare to your attack speed (which is still 140%ish on cleric buffs).

Why hasn't Gravity just done ROSE stats like any other game/rpg? Example, STATS are preloaded for you, soon as you level up it puts the stats on for you so you only deal with the Skills, I use to love putting in my own STATS and customizing my own characters but as I got older, I prefer it sort of like WoW's system, where you have no choice of allocation of your STATS, makes the game far more stable and balanced.
Then just leave the skills customizable for the person. I just had to sit there and click for 21,000 SP, like you can't even hold it down... Love this game just so outdated .

Well most likely cause it's ROSE and not any other rpg.

Hi Jerremy! is your PvM build stat build still viable?

Almost anything in PvM is viable.

I just wished spear champs weren't just a PvM class or a debuffer in pvp. It's pretty annoying to do no dmg, get your butt handed, and always dying.

You actually do some decent AoE damage when not focused, the biggest problem imo is that you can't really defend for yourself as you have no stuns/mutes/etc., and your single target power isn't very impressive compared to axe/swords.

Since I don't play anymore, might as well release the real best CD build with great damage, best survival and good debuffs. These stat values are only for reference and can be adjusted very slightly according to preference
Str: 288 to hold epic. Less if you want more in other stats and take into account the Luna acc set str bonus
Dex: 50
Int:15-50
Con: 200
Cha: 200
Sen: 270. No lower than this
Gear: Chivalrous set, Aurum Backshield 50/40, Style Sunglasses 50/40, Epic Spear, Luna set
Gems: All Tanzanite 7. Every single gem slot. No excuses.
Costume: Kings 5% crit and ap
Important must have skills: 10% crit passive, both IM champ passives, taunt and even lvl 1 sacrifice, both Berserks, Ap/def down or Berserker's Cry

When not focused..... Lol. I'm literally what all raiders go after first if not told to go after cleric first.. Theres not much spear champs can do in pvp and actually benefit for themselves. If there were a stun aoe or something that actually did an intense amount of dmg spear champs would actually be useful in some way. I'm not switching over because I know how to handle a spear champ but at the same time it's just really annoying to see every class have their op skills and spear champs have nothing to really show in pvp.

Imo they need a survival kind of skill to stay alive longer. Since you're often in the middle of the fight drawing a lot of attention, being unable to defend yourself is really annoying.

That is why you stack crit. Raiders tickle you. It is a direct counter to them. The only time you are vulnerable is obviously during IM berserk.

To anyone who is currently building a spear champ later after this guide was made when some new skills were added.
My spear champ is only level 180 and here is his current build.
The build is PVM, PVP doesn't interest me in the slightest.
I did not get the HP and HP recovery passive, the Attack debuff, the accuracy passive and mspeed passive.
Victorious Respite, one of the new special passive skills is quite good in that it increases your HP recovery a bunch after every kill. (1*character level*skill level) HP recovery for 5 seconds after every kill.
I'm considering putting those points in the single target attack skill (requiring 20 sp minus the valor/honor version) and I probably would have still have some sp left over.

Returning player here!
Much changed and was looking for an up to date guide on the spearchampion. My main interest is endgame PVE (Dungeons, groupfarming and maybe doing bosses).
Would the spear weapon be the best suited for this or is it better to change to another weapon and build? Or maybe even change class?
