A few weeks ago, I came across a strange phenomenon going on with my Soulmaker's Restore. No, not Restoration. Restore. The one that normally has a 3 second cast time when not accounting for Haste.

At first I figured it was only something that was going on with PVP things, but then realized it was triggering in all parts of my adventures. It seems Restore currently becomes instant-cast on any target that has their HP below 15%. This means you can instant-cast Restore on someone or yourself that's about to die with a sliver of HP left.

I do not know if this is intentional or not, but I figured I'd let any Soulmaker player out there know about it if they aren't aware of this. I've reported about this, but nothing's come up about whether it's intentional or not yet.

I've had this happen a couple of times now myself. The hp window is kind of hit or miss though. Sometimes I still get stuck with the 3 second cast :<

WHAT

Am I gonna need another reskill? ;-;

Really interesting find, though.

Could make me mash my restoration button less when a boss AoEs.

I have heard of this happening and ninja saving.. I just didn't realize it was an HP mark thing.

....that would be really interesting if it's intended. Hrmm... maybe I can rope someone into helping me test...

It still has that 1 second cooldown, but that's barely noticeable at all if in the case you're being hit often enough to get back into critical HP.

Had a SM friend test it the other day and it definitely works, but we really couldn't think of any situation where it would actually come to use.

Needs more testing, I guess.

Well, if things are looking really bad and a SM can give a quick HP burst to help the healers? Might be able to ninja-save some people that would have died before priest cast time/animation was over on their heal.

Well it's most definitely saved my SM in Colosseum on many different occasions. It gets to a point where you hope your Restore spam ends up with a Crit. This will put you out of the danger zone. Mine's maxed though, so the difference is there.

Been using SM for quite awhile and was surprised hearing this (too late to reset my skill!!!) but I do notice sometimes that healing is a little bit faster especially when your hp is low. I need to prove it myself so I am going to do some test later on and will give my feedback about this too.

-Edit-

I tried and it works! just as they said if your hp less than 15% which would result in an instant cast of heal but its still has  1sec after cast delay.
