I always land a critical hit anyway and almost never misses @ 60 agi... I did hear that some people throw it all to agi but can you tell me the reason why they do that?

It used to be that there were diminishing returns from stacking one stat because point costs increased. Now they're flat so there's limited incentive to put points in multiple stats. In the specific case of DPS classes there is currently no reason to put points anywhere but agi.

wis: lol

int: not for us

vit: we used to put throw away points here but HP is easier to get now and costs don't scale so there are no more throw away points

And the final battle, str or agi

Str adds flat damage and parry rate. Agi adds crit, dodge, and now hit. It used to be that we'd favor str because the math worked out that it was slightly better for our DPS. Now that agi adds hit as well we can do more reliable damage (at least in fights where it matters) by missing less than we would do with a 'reliable flat damage' str build. And more dodge is icing on the cake.

thank you that really puts me on the right track... I already have 50 str so I guess I'll just continue to add agi from here on out... though a little more vit would do nicely for soloing  :hmm:

Also, as the new damage formula is, you get 2 ATK points from each STR, but the ATK in your char screen is divided by 15.53, so this means that in order to gain an effective 1 Skill Effect Point you need 8 STR.

If anything, just add points to it until you have a multiple of 8 STR (or 15.53 in ATK).

Well, the formula might've got revamped with this last patch and the math I placed there might no longer be valid.

STR is supposed to have a greater value, but AGI should still be the same...

Start planning your base stat build taking into account that you get 280 points to distribute in total XD

Posion Weapon is not considered as "broken" to begin with.

You never lose on DPS or much in Skill Points by having it at lvl 1 tho.

well it is still pretty lame compared to other classes... im not going to waste skill points on it unless it is as strong as it was before...  :p_swt:

Sins are pretty overpowered atm in my opinion, they can farm by theirselves. i don't think they need more.

Eh... The main proble with the Assassins is the Grimtooth's self heal. Other than that, I hope you guys get a fix for Shadow Explosion... AFTER, the self heal gets removed or nerfed A LOT!

Haven't tested yet because TOO BUSY FARMING PILLARNIUM POWDER FOR DEM MENACE SETS, but I loved my Poisoning Weapon 5/5 back in the day, it's still worth it or it's still useless (as in, leave at 1/5).

Sad as it is... currently there is no point for it to be higher than lvl 1.

It would be a hard bet given the current Hit/Dodge rates, but a Rogue with maxed <Crescent Moon> might have a shot.

currently roguard is the website with the most actual information.

It would be wiser to consider more the info there.

Have in mind that the next patch might be another major skill overhaul and skill resets might be back then.

hmm, you could wait for now, the upcoming patch on the 19th of this month is said to have a great overhaul on skills, so skill resets might be reimplemented then.

at that moment you'd be able to play with your skill builds as much as you want o___O

I recomend you test them with the Gobling Leader or Wanderer, since they no longer seem to be farmed as much.

From what I saw, none came new to the skills right? This Shadow Explosion is very weak, I have read that it has a bug.

Shadow explosion is divided on 2 hits, the second hit isn't dealing damage so shadow explosion's damage is effectively halved right now.
