Some people always want to be paid for their ideas. That is what got us where we are with Rescudo's RRE. I am not saying the ideas, work, etc are not worthy of being paid for but I think in this instance, that fact that an item you designed will be used in game, is pretty cool.

I also love the idea that Galaxy had for the Union Backshields. Win or lose that would be a good reward for a UW Quest or something.

Everyone is so creative and the designs are great. Wish I could have voted for a lot of them. Some are good for all classes and some seem to be designed for a specific class.

Maybe a weekly or monthly item design contest would be great. People can design IM stuff, vehicles, quest reward items, etc. So many creative people that play Rose and it might help the developers to see the kind of items people want in game.

I totally agree with you there. It's hard to chose with so many good submissions. There should be more chances for people to show their skills and actually get rewarded by seeing their art ingame.

this is the story of how dinosaurs went extinct, and how yellowstone(a giant volcano) was formed.

Billions of years ago life began to thrive, but billions of years after this when the dinosaurs had evolved, one little micro organism lay thousands of miles under ground in the intense heat and pressure of the depths of the firey earth. the dinosaurs were unaware about what was going to happen in just the next few hundred years.

10 years later
After just 10 years this little single celled micro organism was the size of a house, slowly feasting on melted rock, and other stuff going towards where the dinosaurs were on the earths crust.

50 years later
By now this organism was no organism at all. his name is krakus. he is now the size of 6 miles by 8miles, and he is now the only full grown adult of his species. he is only 17.6miles away from earths surface were he will bring his wrath

1 year later
krakus unfortunately hit his head very hard on some bedrock and does not remember anything.
but now he has reached the surface!

9 years later
the dinosaurs name him calanor, he has now wiped out 90% of the dinosaur population. he also created a giant volcano when coming out of earth, now called yellowstone national park located in the us.

20 years later
calanor has wiped out 99.9999999% of all dinosaurs, all that is left is bigfoot, a few lochness monsters, and a beavcoon(thourobread of a beaver and a raccoon).

10 years later
calanor was goofing around on the beach near the ocean, when he shot out a fireball at the sea, he suddenly saw a magical portal. he went through the portal and woke up going through what is called yellowstone national park volcano...
6 years later- when calanor went through the volcano yellowstone erupted and killed 6.94million people in the united states and killed all the livestock and crops in the world. luckily for the humans he turned into an invincible human after the volcano blew up and is now a normal human been(still invincible though)...
this process happens every 600,000 years, scientist dread the day, and always hope it will never happen in their lifetime

Darn now that I see all of these, I wish I would have created some concept art for this since I'm an artist. I think I could pull off some pretty interesting Orlo type themed backsheilds If I wanted to. Is it too late for this now?

I had no intention of submitting anything. I've finished nothing new for rose since my posts on the old forums. I don't think I would bother to repost them to a contest, I was just saying it seemed awefully short.

hope some artist will submit some dual sword back shield with thunder lightning aura. that would more beautiful and fit in rose onlinegame
