JoonHo's Battle Tactics DPS and Hybrid Warrior Build (Updated 7-5-2014)

Why not put str you say? Its bcoz warrior gear has a ton of str already. Int is important,why? Battle tactics my friend. 1 int is 0.4 crit damage. Lets say u have a lvl 5 bash and your attck power is 2500, so your regular bash damage is around 600+. Then a hybrid warrior, in my case i put lvl 2 bash, which have 2100 attck power but have battle tactics and high crit rate. Regular damage would be around 500+ BUT, your bash will crit around 1500+.

A lot of people do underestimate int for swordie classes coz they didnt know the wonders Battle Tactic damage could bring. Like for my DPS warrior i have no str at all and i do 10k bash on PVE and 6k on PVP. Most of my stats are solely focused on int and agi, especially agi, coz warrior gear has little to minimal agi.

Vit? Yeah you need it but not that much. You also get a hefty amount on gears and cards. I use int-agi-vit cards.

Buy a skill reset and put battle tactics on and you will see why. Ill do a vid once i get home.

About executing skills, i see some warriors do rage strike once its up and doesnt even calculate how much HP a opponent player has. I usually reserve rage strike until the player has 10-15% HP, then BOOM. Blown to China! But sometimes i do rage strike once its up when i know that i will crit more than his/her HP like in my SS. I just builded rage then hit him with rage strike. 52k GG. Also its fun doing rage strikes at colo when it crits. I sometimes hit 3 people and they all dead. Thats 3 kills automatic.

Take note that this is an end game build. Like if your already level 50 or Master level.

Though being DPS warrior upon leveling is quite good too coz you deal more damage and soloing mobs is hella easier and faster.

Once you reach level 50 you would certainly love Battle tactics more whatever build you choose. That is considering you have the right runes and cards being used too. Other than that good luck with leveling.^^

If you are still leveling, yes you will need a bit of strength on your stats. Just prioritize agi and int, and for vit dont think youll need it.

@PooCake - Due to AoV there has been a lot of changes including stats. Looking at JoonHo's stats... since he's ML 14. He would have 75 more stat points than someone who isn't ML. So I guess prioritise agi/int and some on vit.

Yes..sorry for the late response.. My stats are solely distributed to agi and int , with some few str and a lil bit of vit. And yeah i had a couple more stats than a fresh lvl 50 char.

 

My  runes are all agi, having my int come only from cards and acc. Coz in my opinion 300 int is already plenty, even 250. Youll need agi more coz yeah u have high int but it will be useless if you dont have the crit rate. Which  i know at the moment crit rate has been halved prior to AoV patch. I used to have 45% unbuff and now its only 21% (  T_T). And yeah my Chaos sword is +20 with 9% attack seed rune.

The only thing I see in colo is "Miss,Miss,Miss". I put 50 ago already. Pheww

why do you have more stats?

@DonKarlos: the game right now has a lot of broken features. Out hit is one of those issues especially at colo abd PvP where 80% of our attcks doesnt connect. The stats has nothing to do with it.

@PooCake: Its because im Master Lvel 14 thats why i have more stats.

so you have 28 more stats than a lvl 50?

If this is what Jhay is using for PvP as well, it works against me.

Yes, leveling up on master level gives you additional stats but no skills, coz you have to purchase them via Mastery Points on the cat NPC besides Gilgamesh in Morroc.

@StrikeZ101- since i wasnt originally a DPS build, im using dodge/parry set. It helps for survivability on raids, colo and etc since it gives you some added boost on dodge and parry though not that much coz i dont have defender on. Hit/ Vigor/ Haste is also good too that is if your going for full DPS warrior all the way.

@Warrantless- Yeah its still very useful on this recent patch. I still hit the same, i just rarely go on since the shake feature is giving me headaches.

What stats would you distribute to a swordsman whos lvl 13, I just want to level quickly

Ok. So through this patch the DPS of my warrior got really jacked up well.
It might be because of the physical attack effect from the stats that was implemented through this recent patch and Djosers having more attack power than Chaos.
Before patch i was doing around 50-60k max crits on Osiris with +20 Djoser G Sword ( Sinister infused), after patch i was doing 106k crits to him with the same weapon. ( That is a very HUGE boost!!!)

I aslo just got my Osiris G sword, though i wanted to test it out in not ML 20 yet, probably will be in the weekend. And that sword has a jack load of Str, vit and Agi and the best part is that a TON of crit rate too. Though if your leveling i would suggest getting a Djoser G Sword as it is significantly better than Chaos sword now. Damage and stats and also runes, just be prepared for the cost coz Rocket punchers are now gonna sky rocket in prices. Also dont put any Red seed on your Djoser sword wont do nothing as it doesnt have hit/ dodge/ parry its onlt critical rate.
It seems that warriors are becoming more of a very capable DPS class now, which can generate the same or more DPS on any real DPS class. Which gives you more of variety of choices, coz before DPS warriors struggle on raids which is why the most viable options are Hybrid and tank builds. As for myself once i get to ML20 i will probably buy skill points to have tank skills also so i can switch to DPS and tank at the same time w/out worrying about having to change builds again. Probably will max Defender and aura armor and also endure. Parrying can probably stay at lvl 1 as for my opinion parry is only a chance of blocking it and if you already have Defender on youll probably have max Parry by that. So endure will the be the best one skill to go as it is a flat damage reduction on your part.
