About Rangers

Hello everyone!

I'm relatively new to the game, since I last played it on July...

Also, it's my first time as a Ranger, and thus, I have some doubts.

Now, the questions:

1- I've been hearing Multi Shot's become a really good skill. Is it worth it to be maxed out? If it is, what should I revome from my build?

2- The falcons do a lot of damage, I mean... They would if they didn't miss EVERY time. Is this bugged or just extremely useless? Does it deserve skill points? If it doesn't, does Arrow Vulcan do?

Multi shot is yet to be rebalanced, if i were you i'll wait, because it's a bug that it hits to hard.

what people are complaining about atm is not multishot's damage in general but the DoTs. in Colo the skill can hit up to 10 people/mobs and that is pretty ridiculous  for a DoT when Crec can not spread DoTs like that when they are suppose to be the kings/queens of it.

i find myself outdpsing a lot of people due to it atm. if they ever fix Falcon Assault(all summoned pets seems to be broken atm and miss) and buff Vulcan Arrow i might consider putting points into them instead.

Multi shot as stated before is still in the middle of a re-balancing due to the dmg being to much (mostly the dots dmg)

for Falcon post patch Falcon was a pretty good skill and acted like a dot (lasting 30 seconds and your falcon hitting every 2s) Arrow Vulcan was a decent skill as well since not only did it to ok dmg it also refresh Poison Arrows timer (which is useful for when soloing or being the sole ranger in a party) as of now Arrow Vulcan isn't that great in the dmg depart anymore pve wise, I hear its very good in colo but a Pvp ranger owuld need to comment on that. Also you can always refresh PA anyway by recasting since in a raid your PA will be overwritten by another ranger and you can gain threat by the initial hit of the skill

It's really difficult to make a build not knowing what is bugged or broken; the problem is: everything seems to be!

Do you think they'll give Skill Reseters when they're done balacing the class, or should I just spend my skill points like I would have?

One more question: Is it worth it maxing out Poison Arrow or is level 1 enough?

Personally I've always maxed PA, but alot of build leave at lvl 1 in favor of maxing other skills like True Sight in order to get Falcons out faster (true sight maxed out is 120s CD time I think) since that skill refreshes your CD so long CD like Falcon and Wind Walk can be re-casted more often. I maxed mine for a more constant dmg kind of thing since mine post revamp ticked around 950 and now maxed out it ticks for 1.5 1.6 unubffed and 1.7 1.8 buffed. I dont know the dmg for lower lvls  since I've never used it at lvl 1 in the recent patches. but keep in mind for master lvls you can purchases 20 extra skill points (35k mp each so ouch much) which means technically you have 20 extra skills points you could use once you get them. which is more than enough to max alot of your more useful skills.

as for skill resets currently right now if you talk to the storage kafra you get a free 1 zenny skill reset till tomorrows patch, we haven't gotten any word if they will extend this since they will be fixing a lot of skills
