How are Socrs now?

I haven't been playing for a year or more, last time i played, we didn't have the Noel race and Sorcs were high burst dps, with respectively good healing abilities, as in i could solo heal any instance lv25~40+ if i had a proper party setup.

I came back and saw all my skills have been reset, what happened to the class so far?

Dear Njoror,

 

 What i have discovered today is so disappointing i tried my sorc in colo today for almost a year i didnt join colo for the nerf reason....... and Guess What an  assassin just 1 hit me???? really?  if you want to see how bad the sorc really is try out sorc in colo and tell me........ do sorcs deserve a nerf???????. BRING back THE AGI stats in the previous RO2,  sorc arsenal does not relay on heals and sustained DMG and BURST COMBO......ITS THE CRIT THAT COUNTS

Well... that's normal right now. Sins are stupid op because of a recent "balance" on them. Sorcs haven't had any changes since the beginning of the year.

Also, it is very possible for a sorc to win a colo! Just keep trying.

Hello.. This is my first post ..
and I would like to use it here in our thread(fellow sorc)..  :ok: 

erm.. I would like to point out the animation time of our rejuvenation and deluge..
the animation is soo long that sometimes our toon and/ or partymember(s) die even before the skills actually heal..
I know some of you will say "those two are instant cast"  , i'm trying to point out the animation, not the cast time..

Healing Wave has a cast time, but it can heal faster than Rejuv..
some of you might say "you can run/walk while using Rejuv, while can't on HW" that's not my point, this is mainly for the animation and the time before the heal to really be in effect.

 

And yes, I want them to heal faster or make the cast animation short.
Hope you understand what i'm trying to say, i've been repititive(i know) but i just dont wanna get misunderstood, that's all..  :no1:

I don't know what is on RO2 devs when they did the Stats re-balance but seems they want to make the Sorc class just like Wiz.

I missed the Pre-AOV time that Sorcerer is still relying on Agi rather than Int. Re-balance for this class was already stagnant for almost a year. Fix this broken class first (and other class as well) before introducing a broken content (I'm just assuming, dont worry)  :ani_swt:

I wouldn't call them newbies. Playing a Fire Sorcerer is also a valid strategy.

That's true. Im a PvE sorcerer. After AOV patch, i noticed ice bolt + JT or VS is no longer a good combination. The chance to activate the lightning crest using ice bolt is low now (anyone notices that?). Also, what happen to the critical damage? It's so hard to get critical damage.

I reset my skills and max fireball and fire bolt. Surprisingly, fireball can deal 10K+ DOT damage. It could be more with decent equips. My friend said my sorcerer kills faster with fireball+fire bolt than ice bolt+JT now.

It depends but in PVP, i met a very good sorc wich used fireball (dot) then the combot with jt and spear.

Sorcerers aren't what they used to be in the old days where Agi mattered. Then and now we've transformed from the hunters to the hunted, and though we still dish out pretty nice damage, the survivability isn't good enough.

Hi all

 

I've been playing sorcerer like 2 years (but recently switch to play priest). Now we have these cazar and eddga gears and i heard there are differences between those two gears where cazar is suitable for pve and eddga suitable for pvp. Meaning to say is, stat distribution will change too since it depends on which role we wanna play as sorcerer: pure dps or healer. Correct me if im wrong: if we choose to become dps, we will get AGI rune while healer we put INT rune.  

 

Any comment on which stat we wanna put since we have ++ Agi and INT which we can get from daily?

^ go the vit way, or just push your int more like I do. Who cares about HP pool, anyway?
