Sry guys...Problem with patches

Sry guys, first for my english, not my mother language and second for the topic. I dont use foruns regurlaly.

 

Anyway...lets begin.

 

I played requiem before, and trying to play again. Downloaded the patch, installed the game and some errors appeared, but i solved then with google. But now i'm at a dead end. The game starts patching, download the first archive, but don't get to the other archive. Anyone seen this before?

Make sure the updater program is being used from the correct area which is within the folder, if that is the case. You might need to re-install.

I already reinstalled, from three diferent methods. An old launcher i had, one i found on the net, and the new, from the website. I also tried to install from another pc here in my house, and the same error. the launcher download the first archive ( in this case 619) and when it finishes, it just stop. I hoped this maintaince would solve the problem, but anyway...probably the guy before is right....god dont me to play...LoL

Ah yes. I already tried the manual patch also, but when i put the archives inside the patch folder, and start the game, when it downloads the list the updater just erase all the archives that were there.

I was that earlier today a new client was added to the website. It should resolve most issues players were having with downloading and patching. Please be sure to download it and give it a try.

Says last client uploaded April 30, 2013. Might want to update that date.
Still Good job on removing the USER error for a lot of European players. Probably. I have not seen that recently. Now please work on Windows 8 version.

Thank Cleffy, I will notify the team to update that date. Don't want to confuse players thinking it's an old download.

 

*Edit: Oh and if you guys can give us a report on the problems you get with Windows 8, that would be fantastic. Sometimes we cannot reproduce the same issues some players have so it's really difficult to find out what to fix.

From what I can see its when a player is loading into the game from character selection, they crash. I think the issue is related to Windows Defender blocking system\requiem.exe , Although I cannot confirm because I have not heard back from those players. Its particularly bad for web client users since the folder is buried in a spot many people would not think to look.
The other issue is that the game is not Windows 8 certified because it does not have a modern UI version. MSDN has several guides in how to create a Windows 8 certified game. It will take some programming, but it all boils down to using a CoreWindow for the modern UI path.

Well, thanks for all replies guys. I'm doing everything u guys said me, and the last one was desinstaling and now downloanding the game from the new patch...lets hope it works. Thanks for all ideas. I'll tell if it worked later.

Well...the new installer solved the problem. I just hope that i can update the game when its needed. Thanks all of you guys, who helped with ideas and for the time spent with me ^^
