RO TROUBLESHOOTING - READ THIS FIRST!

There, now they're embedded

Correct patch server is ftp://ropatch2.gravityus.com/patch/

Will try to update the flowchart, but the site is asking me for money to access my saved charts :-(

ahhh reading flow carts really gives me head aches, reminds me of our time in high school engineering class= = where i failed miserably, despite the fact everyone else said it was ez

You never seem to have mension on where to put the patched file.


In the RO folder.

Now that I think about it, if you're on windows vista/7, it might not see the files you put there due to UAC File and Registry Virtualization, if RO is installed inside program files.
RO really shouldn't ever be installed inside program files on Vista and later (unless UAC is disabled) but despite getting it right on the renewal test client, the GMs back-slid with the released renewal client, and it once again defaults to program files.

You go to that address in your browser, and manually download the patches.

It seems though, that if RO isn't able to connect to the patch server _at all_, it sometimes refuses to use manually downloaded patches. May be a Vista/Win7 thing, with the files not actually being saved to the RO folder due to UAC.

ummm i downloaded the manual patches, updated my patch2.txt but the patchers still attempting to connect to patch server which isnt responding. so manual patches dont install.

im using vista and i have ro in program files.... im outa ideas

cant connect to RO... it says "Failed to Connect" and it says on the chart that make sure no firewall is blocking RO... nd my firewall is not blocking my RO... but still cant log in.... i dont know wht to do now... pls help...

Had failed to get errors. Had to add 8 files to the directory manually. Is this normal?
