Tiki Tuesday Question Lounge for 4/15

This is the place to ask questions about RO, or life in general. We answer these questions during the Tiki Tuesday live show at 3pm (on tuesdays)

As this is the place to share Tiki culture I thought I’d expand the section to include artwork and other ephemera

For this week’s album, this is an incredible collection of rare tracks that touches on the different types of music that you’d find playing at your tiki bar. The Hawaiian songs, Latin Rythmns, and lots of stranger stuff (Pieces of Eight being my favorite track on this collection).

For this week’s recipe: Mai Tai Hawaiian Style

Although a tasty drink on it’s own, you can see the eventual downfall of the Tiki Drink in this recipe. Because the creators of the drinks kept the recipes under lock and key, other bartenders attempted to imitate or in this case completely changing the recipe. Over the years as the original bars went to the Happy Hunting ground in the sky, Mai tais and other tiki drinks were relegated to the sad genre of “umbrella drinks”. Sickly sweet, using low quality rum and pre-made syrup mixes these gave Tiki cocktails a bad name for decades. Fortunately through the efforts of Jeff “Beachbum” Berry and other mixologist historians, the original recipes were unearthed and preserved.

1 oz orange juice
1 oz unsweetened pineapple juice
1/2 oz lime juice
1/4 oz lemon juice
1/4 oz orange curacao
1/4 oz orgeat syrup
1/4 oz sugar syrup
1 oz demerara rum
1 oz dark Jamaican Rum
1 oz light Puerto Rican Rum

Shake with plenty of crushed ice. Pour unstrained into a double old-fashioned glass. Garnish with a pineapple finger, sugar cane stick, orchid and sprig of mint. From the Royal Hawaiian Hotel, adapted by Jeff Berry.

Ninja getting fixed any time soon?

We've tried what we are able to modify here and have not been able to successfully restore the animations, but we have created a bug report and sent it to kRO.

Biolabs 3 monster going to spawn on the single square it should spawn?

For the hugel spotlight can we get dragons event not just more adventurer guild turn ins?

A return of a Dragon type event is definitely possible for the hugel spotlight.

no other quests for alberta spotlight? just adventurer guild's turn in? i loved aladdin's tarnished lamp and sons of kobald.

will the adventurer guild provide monsters from byalan 6 and turtle dungeon?

what's for the next spotlight? wish for more headgear/costume.

can we have a headset costume. you were mistaken with note headphone last week.

On Renewal, kRO's being strict about us not creating new quests without their express approval and involvement so we have to go through them for new Renewal quests. 

For the next spotlight we have Hugel and Bifrost on Classic and Renewal, respectively. 

We are preparing a new request for costume replica headgears based off the thread in the Suggestion subforum. 

Due to the Ninja being an expanded class type, it usually shares gear restrictions with the Thief class tree.

For example, Ninjas can make use of Thief Clothes and Assassin's Robe, Thief Figure, Rogue's Treasure and Medal of Honor (Thief) among other things.

However, Ninjas are unable receive the unique benefits of any cards that refer to Thieves, which kinda sucks as Ninjas can make extremely good use of them. I was wondering if this was intended.

Are there any plans to update Merry Badger in the near future? Preferably with Bio3 MVP loots or just any MVP loot in general, really. q_q

^This and/or Eve Natalia. Bio MVP requires at least one other person or abusing the portal with MVP items, unless you cheat and use autopot! A lot of the MVP loots are real junky and it's not even worth it to upgrade and use eat gear x_x Considering it's a "difficut" MVP, I hope you guys can make it more worthwhile in terms of general loot considering Valk/Satan Morroc/Naught Sieger got the same treatment.

Maybe they could add WoE Supply boxes to them to give other people an incentive to try and farm them too.

Let's have the refining NPCs give out consolidation prizes when they turn your beautiful gears into useless little paperweights. If you manage to drop 6 or more refine levels in one session when using item mall ores on a Lv3 or 4 weapon, bam free Weapon 7 Cert.

You can't abuse that since it's all based on luck (or lack thereof), and using even a small quantity of item mall ore (like 50 ores) costs x5 more than what most newbies have in pure zeny over all their accounts, should you grab some from a vend instead of sinking real money.

Indeed. We want the minutes, possible resolutions, attendance, time and place of the next meeting, and an official from your department to provide supplementary information should we need it.

 

When we do have the meeting I will provide as much information as is possible regarding what we talked about.

The meeting was delayed this week (well two weeks) so we will be meeting with our contacts early Next Week. I will make sure that the bugs and desire for new content from the community especially are discussed at the meeting.

Is thorn wall ever gonna be re-enabled in woe?

Some people use Sakray for USRC practice. The current sakray has a broken izlude and many of the gear npcs missing. Can you guys fix that for the USRC team purposes, since that's kinda important ;s?

But going upon the previous times this has happened you open it up for practise like a month before which is way too late. :V

Any chance you guys will bring back the option to subscript few months of VIP at a lower cost?
