Stat effects on Weapon AP, 2014

Just in case someone else is wondering if the Stat describe in the link above is still being used today, Yes it still is, But I can only assure it on weapons, I didn't bother with other mechanics it affects.

 

I feel like not playing rose for a while because I don't know how to properly distribute my stat points

and I'm afraid that the mechanics describe in the link above is not being used anymore.

 

Since I don't wanna quit Rose but feel like not playing just because of the Stat I had to Test it myself.

Took time and I had to reset my lvl54 Char, but I won't be using it anymore so no harm done.

 

I tested all weapons and It seems that the above link is still being used today,

There was only one thing that was wrong

The Dual Swords

Link on the above says

Str.55

Dex.35

 

I tested it and it was the opposite,

Maybe it's 

Str.3
dex.4
 
I'm not sure maybe someone with Authority would confirm this , but Ya It's Opposite from the link above
Dex is.55 and 
Str is .35
 
 
Well I hope that if ever Stat mechanics regarding weapons will be changed Moderators would post it on Forums.
 
I just Doubt the Link above because It was posted at Dec5,2010 
It's been three years and in three years time span, Stat mechanics could have changed, 
Its just that I haven't been able to find Source confirming it, So Maybe It was changed without being talked about.
 
Well now Mystery solved the only problem with the link above is the Dual Swords, Dex and STR is Opposite.

All bonuses for all weapons as well as base bonuses for all classes. All values are listed as amount per 1 stat point. Post any suggestions and or if you disagree with any of my findings. Note: Con will only give 1 accuracy per stat point without a weapon equipped.

All Classes
STR
Defense: .35
HP: 2
Weight: .6

This one is no longer perfectly applicable. The defense and carry weight is still the same, but HP changes from class to class. With knights gaining 5hp per str (not counting in any passives yet), champions 4hp I believe, and the others are around standard 2-3hp at best.

DEX
Dodge: 1.25

 

No longer holds true, dex now gives 1.5 dodge.

INT
M-Defense: .6
MP: 4

 

This should still be the same.

CON
Accuracy: 1.25
Critical: .2

 

Still the same.

 

SEN
Attack: .1
Critical: 1

 

Still the same.

One-Hand Weapon
STR
Attack: .65

DEX
Attack: .25


Two-Hand Weapon
STR
Attack: .65

DEX
Attack: .25

 

Both melee weapon stat bonuses are still the same.

Crossbow

Attack: .5

DEX

The only weapon stat that has really been changed, Dex and str scalings have been switched, so same as katars duals now have 0.55 dex bonus and 0.35 str.

Same.

Magic Wand

Attack: .35

As for your reason to leave, due to not knowing how to "properly" distribute your stat points. That's a misconception, there is no "proper" way to do it. There is the "popular" ways, and then there are the ways that best fit your play style. I myself, have always done my own builds, and they are always effective for me.
