If anything, every class needs proper armor sets. If you're going to continue this trend of gear reliance, then atleast give the classes properly made gear to reinforce; skills can wait.

 

 

Tbh, I've never played an mmorpg where an assassin can kick the majority of your buffs.... or any class for that matter. In WoW you can remove buffs from another player, but they have minute + cooldowns and only remove a specific type of buff. The same goes for just about every mmorpg that has similar elements to Everquest. If you're putting forth an honest effort to correct the class balance, perhaps you should invest time in combat triangle. Each class needs heals, debuffs, buffs, and a variety of talents to choose from so the player can tailor the class to their gameplay The goal should be to out smart your opponent, not to overpower them by brute force. Once we begin to notice the triangle becoming unbalanced, changes can be made accordingly instead of adopting the "Nerf everything till people are happy" strategy.

 

One can only dream! But for now, I believe assassins are fine, no major changes required. Perhaps SW's duration can be lowered slightly.

hahaha same sentences nerf other get OP is true, right? i'm tank base hp 21k, 2.9 def , 80block success and 1.2k block def, in front of sin, can't do anything, e.g. butthead(sin) he stun on me,debuff, stun lock,stun stun lick……debuff, stun……i cant move cant heal, just wait die, it is the true of sin'stun, y?sin always want nerf other just OP themself, saw ppl(sin player) dissuss all post b4, right? hahahaha gogogog just sin OP

 

i am talking about +30, a +30 tank usually got around 35k hp...

I thought this is a sin and sr`s skill changes not commander.

 

1.What is a commander`s role in your eyes?

2.Does every sin hate commander with a passion like you ?

3.When is the last time you had a commander?(that if you had)

4.Would you ask to nerf a class just because you can`t kill them?

 

1. A Commander in my Eyes is the best class for PvP, good damage, good buffs and debuffs. in fact commander is the character with least weaknesses.

 

2. I Don't hate commander, i just compare Assassin to other classes to see Assassin from different perspectives, and in my Eyes Assassin could be nerfed, but not decrease the stuns. Like i mentioned in my post, nerf the overpower skills "Stealing Weapon" and "Blinding Attack"

 

3. i have a lv 90 Assassin and Lv 90 Commander, that's why i know so much about Commanders and their non weaknesses. And if you say that Commander got a weakness, then you either need to reinforce or practice the way of mastering a commander.

 

4. No, i'm showing the problem with different perspectives, i said that most magic classes got trouble against Assassin and there are others that Assassin can't beat, i don't judge any class. <- this is a fact of unbalance. forsaker, mystic need to be upgraded, and commander, druid needs to be degraded.

Ok its like this....i have a zerk 5/6 parts of set +30 last 1 +20 jewals +10 i have 23 k hp and 2.7 k def.is it normal when i fight whit sin that i cant even hit him because im dead in 10 sec stun.....come on and if i survive what can i do no buff(aa zerk)slow,sw....and you talk about not nerf them....make sw and slow 15-20 sec and then maybe other ppl will have chence....make scud 5 sec and leave ht on 3 sec

I respect that you agree with the nerf of those 2 skills but I still don`t see why commander should be degraded.That class already passed through many nerfs so far,even their skill AM got nerfed in the past.Also while at it,why should mystic be upgraded?Mystic is already the easiest class for someone to play and have solo ability and be able to perform good in both PvE and PvP,hell they can even solo tank bosses what more do you want.

Look around ingame all you`ll see is this:Sins,Druids,Mystics,Commanders exactly this order.I`m pretty sure theres a reason why people play specifically this classes and i doubt its only for the fun of it.Just sayin`.

I played on on Valdes server before and i must say- there wasnt so many sins around. Server merge and pk changed everythink.

I have played with different races including sins and agree with the changes suggested in here. what i think is the critical skills which need balancing are Assassin_Stealing_Weapon.gif stealing weapon which totally negates the attack power of mainly melee class (should work on casters too) takes away all attack power and should be made to take away a certain % of attack power and also it lasts for 66 sec with DNA which is insane. this skill also works on possession beasts which i think is needs to be fixed because all other similar skills don't work on PB like slow or hush. Other skill which i think needs to be fixed is Rogue_Blinding_Attack_2.gif blinding attack which is insanely long (40 sec) which is also mainly effective on melee class. There is already a similar skill for rouge Rogue_Joint_Strike.gif which also reduces speed for 31 sec. they should be merged into one skill with short duration, other melee class have one 3 sec stun and 10 sec slow. when stealing weapon and slow are used together melee class don't have any chance of winning like commander, the sin can just be far enough to attack with cross bow while the target is crawling. Seriously rush for commander is 10m - 33m so sin can just stay close enough to stun and keep using slow (make rush 5m - 33m for commander). there should be some new skills for sins most of the skills look like upgraded rogue skills which should not be the main focus of an assassin. other skill to consider is Rogue_Doppleganger_Magic.gif this skill is pretty useless now not even low levels use it. this could be a great skill for a sin is it takes 80% of the characters stats and armor or make it usable for a lvl90 player. right now the dark mercenaries from daily quest like Merc-kamila-sym.png are more powerful than the lvl10 doppelganger.

Hahahahaha, this post is too good that I had to login and post.

 

2. Stealing weapon is the only weakness for Druids and Commanders, I've taken down commanders (+30 and druid +30) with stealing weapon, let me tell you something, this isn't exactly what I'd call a walk in the park, took several minutes of 1 on 1, unless commanders, that can just chew through 10 people in battleground, we can't do that. We're a one on one class and should in fact be buffed, the weakness is low hp progression and lack of items to compensate for the lack of HP. So you're suggestion is to nerf stealing weapon? Dude, this will make druids and commanders unkillable.

 

What you've got to understand is that Assassins is meant to be a one on one class, you can't compare a caster class that decides to go full on damage and then claim "-_- assassins -_- OP", it's a choice, I've fought a crap ton of tanky as -_- shamans, defilers, dominators that didn't die from my first 10 seconds stun, probably took 1/2 their HP (and I ain't a -_- player as well in case you're wondering who the hell I am). 

 

Addressing the game for people that decides to turn into glass cannons isn't the right mentality. 

 

Oh and I got a forsaker that pops out 6k-7k totems, but I fully accept the fact that I went the glass cannon route, yet in BG (when I played) I still rocked the positive score sometimes going 40+ kills  to 1-5 deaths, was I easy to kill? Hell yeah dude, 2 sec from a decently geared sin, would have sent my corpse flying in all directions but well, BG is a group game, so yeah, stick to the team and lay down the law.

 

We had a lot of guildwars sort of thing on the server vs the Koreans, they can attest to how badly burnt they were from that war. 

 

All in all, yes Assassins can kill EVERY CLASS because that's what they're meant to be but also can easily be taken down, that's the downside to the class. A berserker is more of a threat to casters in the first place, 15k+ LDB.

 

SCAD, SS sins needs to be buffed if they want an influx of non AA sins.

I've seen worse, and doesn't matter this topic is already finished being discussed lol...however does make sense that a sin, an expert at hiding would be able to see another sin. not at an infinite range of course, perhaps just close range, 15m

That would be fun!

I remember boring situations in foc where almost everyone left, except for 2 sins (one in each team) who just wouldn't unstealth to fight each other.

Assassin_Explosive_Hacking.gifExplosive Hacking : At Max level, the damage should up to 1974 or more. (without DNA skill), so if with DNA skill, the additional damage will be 1974+987=2961

 

 

Two reasons for this change:  

 

1.When the target has cap DEF, this skill is useless for assassin because the damage is less than auto

 

attack even critic. With a +30 dual swords, this is obviously because dual sword gives 300 CAD. And the time

 

of this skill "movement" takes almost times than auto attack, so this skill should be stronger to reach the balance.

 

2.IT'S ASSASSIN, SO IT SHOULD KILL OR DESTROY THE TARGET IN SHORT TIME!

   

  Assassin has LESS HP, LESS DEF, LESS physical ATK POWER, all depends on every critical hit to

 

damage the target, so this skill should be stronger in order to be more like an assassin.

Rogue_Paralyzed_Nerves.gif Paralyzed Nerves: extend the duration and the effect to -2.5 attack speed and 30 sec at max level.

 

If ppl has quick attack level 10, then with this debuff, only paralyze target -1.0 attack speed. So it should be stronger and 20 sec is less.

 

 

I don't know why this skill always miss, though I'm level 90 with 20k accuracy.   Fix this.
