I noticed a lot of the information about stats for warriors seem outdated. Public chat told me to put all points into int. I have read that on here as well, but it is dated up to several months ago. In an mmo months can be several patches.
After reading about str it gives more hit than agi yet I see posts about how agi is so strong and you need it for hit.
My concern is with full int I won't have the toughness from the parry you get from str to fulfill my duties as a tank.
Also I am not sure how many stat points you actually get at this current point in the game.
Sorry for the long post, but I am really enjoying this game and I would like for my toon to be as effective as possible. I like the warrior so far the best but I don't fully understand how to spend my stat points.

So for warriors to use INT on bonus stats means one thing and that is to get Passive skill "Battle Tactics" maxed.
So simply said after a lil bit calculation remember this. > Every 250INT points raises your Critical damage rate by 100%
So basically that 100% bonus means that your normal critical damage that is usually Double dmg is now turned into Triple.
Normal attack = Normal damage aka 100%
Critical Strike = Double Damage aka 200%
Critical strike with 2/2 Batlle tactics (250Int) = Triple damage
Critical damage with 2/2 Battle tactics (500Int) = Quadruple dmg aka 400% etc etc.
Because how warriors gains pure Raw damage through the weapon and Bonus damage from Str that affects alot.
Best part of this skill is that IT'S NOT CAPPED. So you can get as much int as possible and wreack everyhing infront of your way. BUT. That is limted to How many times can you crit.
So because Warriors dont get Int through any gears they use extra INT giving things like Honing,Cards,Titles and Runes.
Now do remember that when you get to master level 1 you get access to master level one Accessories. Because of these accessories you can achieve easily 100+ Int plus the other effects from other stuff which i mentioned above.
So pretty much the "ideal" int you can get is 500Int through boosting Int.
But once your at max level you can see how easily you got 500Int.
As for myself i am always running with atleas 500Int without putting any points on Int from stats.
But that brings to the last part :/ What do you want o put in the end.
You can try first using stuff like
60%/40% Int/Agi
30%/30%/30% Int/Agi/Vit 10% how you want etc etc.
Agi is needed to crit more often while Int is used to boost the dmg so basically you must try and find your ideal stat build.
In the end you will have like 30% Critical rate easily so thats not a problem.
Basically anything is wrlcome except STR & WIS
Why Str? Because you will get alot of Str grom the gears so its not needed in the end.
Hope it helps ^^

You dont nees to worry of Parrying or that you lose tougness because of it.
You see the newest and beat gears gives you first Primary stats like Str,Agi,Vit and a bit Wis.
These Primary stats gives you also Bonus secondary stats like Str = 2 Parry 3 Attqvk power and 2 Hit.
Also these gears gives different secondary stats like Critical,Vigor which is known for Cooldown Reduction, Haste for auto attack and Parry and Hit these atats comes alot tho so no need to worry.
And yes. Agi got heavily nerfed to hell. But hey thats not a problem when they nerfed agi they gave you Critical worth of 500Agi to the gears itself and some others too so if you look at whats waiting in the end you wont be that sad tho.
Ppl then had like best of 38% Critical and that was droped to 31-32% (for warriors).
And as i said you get alot of Str from agears (Aprox 2000+) and you have a askill which biffs str by 10% so dont forget.
Maximum obtainable distributable stats total is 325 points for now. (Maximum gonna be 425 When master level 50 aka lvl 100 but for now maxilum lvl is Ml30 aka lvl80)
Yes every guide is pretty much outdated but thats why you did well and asked from others they can help you and if you need help on other classes ask for ppl who knows of them etc etc pr use forums. Kthxbye

I just hit level 20 and out of all the classes I've tried this is the 3rd swordie I made and the only one I put no points into str. Glad to know I'm on the right path.
Thank you for all the help . I think ima continue on my path of splitting int and agi with a little more focus on int like you said since I already have points in agi and if I feel weak later I will reset to full int.

As a tank dodge and parry sounded good. But with battles tactics and full int. Having the offensive stats seemed good. I don't seem to have trouble with the amount of damage coming in. I was mainly concerned about my hit with dodge/parry armor.
Also why does my armor have cast speed on it? What is that adding to my warrior?
So far warrior really seems my style and is a lot of fun. Thanks to everyone on these forums for the help: both directly in this thread and indirectly through other threads.

And about the cast speed on your equipment, i totally have no idea why it has it.

I think i still get confused between haste and castspeed. But one of them definitely increase the sprite speed like the bash swing will become faster though the cool down still stuck with vigor

Haste is for physical attack speed and cast speed is for casters.
