I know the GM's have been working out to balance classes , i appreciate that but i think the skill effect sleep got a little carried away . So the only classes that possesses this skill effect are

The problem from this skill effect is that they can be used repeatedly and resulting in PvPs like this ...

Thats for the sleep effect and about stuns , i don't think it should be existing in this game cause it just turned all fights into pure luck and timing . For example Pvps like mages vs champions is highly dependent on the first stun , either one of them gets the first stun , wins or fighting classes of your own , its just the matter of luck on whoever stuns more is the winner , instead why can't we have fights that wouldn't let us to stop when fighting and depend more on our gears and builts which is much more fun in my opinion ...

Im not saying classes are overpowered or whatever , im just not very satisfied about the condition of our pvp systems , i don't really want to depend on my luck to win ... Doubt anyone does . Discuss :rolleyes:

Why not post this in proposal and suggestions?

I agree, the way people use sleep now calls for it to be changed. I think increasing the cooldown on those skills by 2 seconds or so and reducing the duration of the sleep effects will help.


You are right about stuns. But I think it is like this because there are a crapload of stuns in the game. Mages and champs have 4 stuns. Knights have 3. Raiders have 2 + sleep. Way to many stun skills. Something like mages having 2 (no sleep) and everyone else having 1 would be more interesting if you ask me. Raiders should probably not have any stuns and only have the sleep skill.

But if that were to happen, there would need to be a lot more balancing changes on the other skills to make things fair. Knights and mages are pretty stun dependent so cutting out most of their stuns would leave them rather gimped.

I think knights would need some HP stealing skills. :rolleyes:

Champs and raiders depends on stun a lot too so i don't think any class would be an exception from this nerve :rolleyes: .

i agree less stuns would be a lot more fun. and also, it just really depends on what they are going towards.. either we have less stuns or we keep it how it is now and work from there. it's just like when they did all this balancing during the "100% stun" period, and then as soon as 100% stuns were gone, they forgot to realize that more balancing was required to make up for the big change(this of which is long overdue as nothing has been done yet for over a month)

Mute gonna get overlapped by hes knife , castings too slow about 2 seconds , the only way to cast it safely is to stun him first and the problem is i can't MOVE!!!!

Edit : :rolleyes: odd i really should use mute that time :unsure: , oh well he wouldn't die in 5 seconds i presume

You forgot artisans have a sleep skill but no one really exploited that yet. I'd like it if some stuns were removed from all classes too.

In my humble opinion, each class should have one 100% stun with long cool down for tactical use and that's it. This crazy stun/sleep fest is getting on my nerves.

If monsters had access to the forums we would have an endless flow of QQ threads about stuns in PvM. :rolleyes:

how about remove most of the stuns or even all.. these stuns of which are soley based on a percentage make pvp so pointless especially since it's just a luck factor. multiple stuns make it possible for anyone to beat anyone merely on the amount of stuns/mutes they hit.

You aren't going to kill someone who is using those 1on1 anyways. Unless you use them yourself, then the person with more wins. If the stun lock doesn't persist for even 1 split second they can heal back a ton of hp. Stuns or no stuns you have to gang these people. I don't find this a valid argument for stuns anymore.

I don;t like the idea of removing all stuns though. I think If all classes had 1-2 tops (and none that lasted 3 seconds) it would be fine.

Sleep is only overpowered in 1v1 situations because the cooldowns aren't long enough and you can wait and put someone back to sleep shortly after the duration of the skill ends. In war type situations you wake up as soon as someone hits you anyway.

Oh , so raiders could escape with ease just by throwing knifes ? Might as well don't remove stuns , raiders can't be killed or else .
