non-link sm build

since links are not useful anymore, i resetted my skill and did non-link build. link are unusable if u are not in party. if u are in party, still useless(for me) because broken easily. here my non-link build:

well i can give my skill point soul extinction and s.e. mastery if skill fix and increase damage and dot. then i should remove my skill points on soul extertion and 2 skill point from restoration. So guys, any other idea about non-link build, post here and we can discuss. )

I agree with you that Soulmaker Links are a bit unused at the moment but they are very useful when you start grinding Dark Whisper since the group stays in one location except for the pullers. I went with a vigor build and I need the Concentration link and its 5% extra vigor from crits to keep my eternal Awaken Soulmate form. But I would like to see how a non-link build would work like since it is still a hybrid build that focuses on DPS. I myself rather like the Revive and Concentration links since it not only helps me but the party.

Edit: I like how our class has a similar build variety as Sorcerers do allowing us to play our class as we best see fit.

thanks for reply. well i m ml29 now and after that not gonna do party anymore. after 1-2 day, i m gonna be solo sm again ) my vigor %48 now and my awake cd 5 min. i m just waiting 2 min for using awake again and it feels very good )

Congratulations    on ending your nightmare at the moment but do be aware that we will be getting a raid and dungeons in the near future. I also like to do soloing since it leaves me with my thoughts and gives me an insight into how the game is unbalanced when its possible to solo Osiris with ease.

well if we get raid , i might reset again and might max my sl revive since %10 damage decrease is very useful(plus %10 more healing.)

But link ranges should be increase to at least 20m( my suggestion is 25m). They are broken so easily now.

When you are using the links, just type and inform them. You can also form a small group out of the raid party to surround you because you can only link 5 person max and one only for the DPS link. The best way to execute it is to put a battle pointer on your head so those people will know where you are so they don't have the excuse to get lost. Hopes it help.

In what way is the link not useful? without it, SM is not an SM anymore, its like captain America using a sword instead of his signature vibranium shield. On the other hand, with the current skills numbers, other than link and cure build, SM maxing his DPS skill still being considerate as burden due to extremely low threat generator in end game dungeon (Cresentia can do almost triple of SM DPS anytime anyday). Any classes in RO2 can out threat an SM on an equal gear basis.

OT~ I am currently playing with a maxed DPS build right now. I hate to say it, but it is still lame compared to other classes' skills.

I like the links very much although like everyone have said above, they break off easily. The links make me feel like my party mates are my puppets muahaha. 

the devotion link tho is really helpful when I grind with lower def classes.
