Ok, do u play RO1 before? If yes, then this is the analogy:
STR = our new stat to hit enemies (yes, now hit and dodge is very affected by stats not only gears), and also slight *only little* increase ur damage, and very little increase ur parry rate (so better forget parry things). Standard requirement to hit for physical/dual stat dps class, completely useless for caster class. Similar to DEX status in RO1
AGI = increase ur dodge (its also important now as parry get badly nerfed), ur critical rate a little, and ur hit a little compared to STR. Both physical/caster/dual class stat will benefit from this stat, however the increase may be little and not that significant. Similar to AGI/LUK status in RO1
VIT = increase our HP (and the number is bigger than pre AOV). For tank class (warrior/knight/BM/monk) they got bonus defense also from VIT a bit. Similar to VIT status in RO1.
INT = For caster class/dual stat class, the benefit is the same like STR for physical classes. For warrior/knight with bt INT will increase critical damage (linear to STR pre AOV). For other physical classes, this status is completely useless. Similar to INT/DEX status in RO1.
Physical classes: sin, rogue, ranger, BM
Caster class: priest, wizard, sorcerer
Dual stat class: monk, cresentia, SM
Special class: warrior, knight
U may wonder... Where the heck is RO1 STR equivalent here for physical class? It is the physical weapon class, yes physical class got huge weapon power so that it acts completely like STR, while caster class got low weapon power but compensated by higher magic attack and their multiplier skills.
