If your going to do 2 vs 2 have chars stripped before event and give event specific items that they turn back in to get there gear back.

 

And why not do 5 vs 5 event for fun so that people can have a party event this could be larger like 8 vs 8 or more.

The last 2 were 5v5 and hardly anyone showed up.

Change the timer to open up a portal for 5 seconds instead and have talking to the npc heal you, problem solved.

It does seem like its drop rate isn't right, 28 HE gums during the event and no ring yet.
