Hello, everyone!

We are starting the application process for Term 3 of the VCRs. For those unaware, I've outlined the changes that are occurring with term three here.

The application has changed a little to allow for more conversation from those interested in becoming a VCR.

We will be accepting three VCRs from each class this term, so feel free to apply if you want to become a representative of the community to Warpportal and Gravity.

For this term, we'd like you to fill out the following:

  • Who you are
  • What you are looking for in Ragnarok 2 and/or the VCR program
  • What you have to offer as a VCR
  • What do you expect out of this program?

Answers can be as short or as long as you want them, as long as you relay your message. Please post your answers in these threads so that the community is able to see the VCR nominees.

Application process will end on October 22, 2014.

Thanks!

Well, Hello Everyone :D... Lets Start:

Who are You?

Im Nanim Main Class: SM Hybrid Lel.

What are you looking for in Ragnarok 2 and/or the VCR Program?

I just want 1 thing... Balance, its really hard to handle this case, but with ideas and suggestions ( i got plenty, of my class ofc ) we can make an idea of this, and for VCR program, more communicative with the other class ideas, for get a way to balance all the classes.

What do you have to offer as a VCR?

Well. I'm a SM and everyone knows that some skills are rly useful ( really, really, almost op, ehemm... Cure) and other that are so useless (Cure Pearl).

My offer is let them know how useful is SM Class, i know so many things of my class, so many bugs that i want to resolve with the VCR Program and so many problems we got in pvp or pve (defense, useless skills or rly useful skills) for make this class more balance to this era of Ragnarok 2.

What do u expect out of this program?

I expect a Balance i guess, also communication to the others SM, and classes. :)

Thank you All, for reading this and i guess the people need to know how squishys and op are SM! > :o

Att: Nanim

Who you are

My IGN is SMmiley and I have been playing SM since the very first day of the launching of Noel on SEA server. Instead of Cresentia that is more DPS-oriented, I have opted to become an SM that have the potential to be a mini priest ( my priest was banned few day before the implementation of noel class for using macros) with a chance to ONE-SHOT with Sacrifice other players in their face! I do consider myself as a full-time PVP player who holds the principle of either you win or you die! I am currently in FALLEN guilld ("PVP first, talk second" principle) which have always been active (and will still be in NA server) and hold the PF castle/fortress for a very long time until the closure of SEA server.

What you are looking for in Ragnarok 2 and/or the VCR Program

Community of Soul Maker (SM) as I observe is really small if we are to compare it to the other popular class community, one of the main key reasons behind is that players often consider SM being not the best/optimal class to play in term of PVP (too fragile without refining equipment and have lack and inconsistent of burst damage since AoV updates), leveling (imagine you have to spam 3x more stacks of blue pots comparing other class in DW during ML 20 to 30). The only advantage SM have now are the links and dot heal, else I don't see any chances that SM can join a good raid as SM's skills damage is a joke. I am certainly looking forward to help improving SM by contributing ideas and proposing changes.

What you have to offer as a VCR

I am geared (+10 to +20 mix of cazar and himelmez gear, 3slots costumes with good rune and max stat and skills) and has a good PVP experience (my killcount as per stated in character panel before SEA server closing is at about 1000-2000). I am able to offer my vast knowledge of the game (SM class in-depth mechanism and RO2 system gameplay)  as I has started my RO2 journey since the beta version as acolyte/priest.

What do you expect out of this program

Certainly by participating in VCR program, I hope to be able to help shaping SM class (buff/nerf of skills, Quality of life update, SM Bug fixing, stat changes, equipment apparent). By volunteering, it allows me to connect to the SM community better and make it a better place because I believe helping out in pointing out the minute details can make a different to this class.

*Who are you?

Soulmaker Lolitakittie (:

What are you looking for in RO2 and/or the VCR program?

I'm looking to build the community of SM's and help them so they can each be as powerful as they can be. (another explanation below)

What do you have to offer as a VCR?

I have a lot of experience as a soulmaker and experimented with various skills/stats and so i can help other SM's find the best build for what they want to play~ whether it be hybrid or just DPS and beyond~

*What do you expect out of this program?

The community of SM's to grow and flourish~ (okay..) Helping SM's understand the class better^^ And other things I've said before above!

Thanks!

~Loli

  • Who you are

Hi, I'm SageLeaf. Currently one of the Soul Maker VCRs. I have a have an unhealthy addiction to RO2 with a lot of time to dedicate to serving the community. I'm a senior in college with a lot of free time on my hands.  I am an active responsive community member. I've mained Soul Maker since they came to iRO2 and have a dynamic experience of their utility. I have a strong knowledge of PvE, PVP, and WoE with Soul Maker and have played every other class in ro2 but knight and monk.

  • What you are looking for in Ragnarok 2 and/or the VCR program

I've had the most unwavering support of ro2 since the game launched for NA. I am looking forward to helping to bridge the gap between player expectations and the realities of development for the game. (Its slow we all know). My suggestions from my report have mirrored previous reports from the Season 1 VCRs and still waiting to hear back from the devs on how they will implement the changes, if any will be made.

  • What you have to offer as a VCR

I can offer unbiased opinion about new features to the game. I don't care if something benefits me or my guild. I want to see the longevity of this game. I also have a lot of free time that I am happy to invest in making a better game for the community. I can offer my input on how my class is affected by changes to the game. I can offer my assistance in making video bug reports, as well as videos to share with the community for some of the forgotten features of the game.

  • What do you expect out of this program?

Not to have Pineapples on my Pizza.

I can't really say I have expectations because I have previous experience with the program. I hope to help foster a spirit of community among the VCRs and to represent the community's wishes.

Who you are

My IGN is Aruu is a ML 30 Soulmaker from Æsir Guild

What you are looking for in Ragnarok 2 and/or the VCR program.

Like every great player, what I expect from RO2 is that it continue to improve, and for that is important to have the opinion from every player. However, it comes the problem that the majority of the RO2’s GMS speak English, and for us, the Spanish-speaking players, makes us hard to communicate for the fact that we don’t master that language. Is for that that I would like to give some kind of support to that people that find it hard or don’t master the language, so they can transmit their doubts or suggestions to the game’s admins.

What you have to offer as a VCR.

When the Noels came out, I got so excited by the idea of making a Sorcerer-kind class (it was my main class before Noels) so I decided to create a Soulmaker, that was the most Sorcerer-like. I realized that this class was so strong and independent. In my time playing, I tried different builds (fs, dps, pvp, etc.). I know my class and I how versatile a Soulmaker can be (in terms of party and raids we are so useful, set by our links and buffs).

Therefore, having the extensive knowledge of that, I can contribute them to the community, and try to be a guide for the new Soulmakers that go in the game, sharing the information in Spanish language, to put no limits to the opinions for our community.

What do you expect out of this program?

Listen more to the concerns of our Spanish players, integrate also our Brazilian friends that sometimes have really good ideas too, but for language problems also, they find hard times expressing themselves. Implementing new strategies for gaming optimization and bug and problems report, and from that, making the game more entertaining for everybody. /*-*/
