I suggest using both the current and the point system. Everyone that answered correctly except the weekly winners gets one point points.
So we still have weekly winners and everyone can earn something.

This one might seem easy but trust me, counting the number of some of these objects is a lot more difficult than it seems. Like I said before... I had to count several times to make sure I had my own answer right and it took me several hours to do it.

Oda has been generating them. I don't have much left on Renewal at this point any more... Unless people want Morrigane Manteaus and Bloody Shackle Balls. I have several merchant carts filled with those. ^_^

i can recycle a set of bsbs for you :3  part of a green initiative and all that.

I was thinking about converting from a 5-people-win-each-week-and-the-rest-get-nothing system to a point system where you can earn points for each week's correct answer to go towards prizes.

 

It would mean a lot more weeks of being correct (I'm thinking 5 weeks = prize worth ~100m) to get a prize on the level that have been given out recently, but it would at least make everyone a winner. Thoughts?

This sounds good. The prize values have varied drastically though. Eggs were nice, then Ganster Scarfs not so much, other than for Classic I guess. BMX3's were okay but they are every day items that can be bought too, & then the MCA, same just not worth as much. This weeks prize isn't that good or worth that much. They are vending for 80-85m atm at least in Renewal. Also this is pretty useless to many people. I'm starting to think that maybe some of these prizes need to be different for Classic, than the ones for Renewal, since there are many items worth more, & in higher demand on there.

IMO the card you will probably get will be worth less. Seems the OCA's have a better chance of having something good in them.

I gave up opening them long ago though. My luck sux...LOL

A more worked out point system:

- Current system remains in place with the addition of the point system. This means that there will still be a chance to automatically win each week, and the points will be the "booby prize".

- You can trade in points for the previous week's prize. The amount will vary based on the value of the prize (and may vary based on what server you're on, too).

- You can only trade in points 1 time a week (no getting multiple MCAs, headgears, etc. so that we don't crash the economy)

- If you are chosen as one of the 5 for the week, you forfeit the points you would have gotten. You cannot opt out of the prize. This means that if only 1 person gets the answer right, I'm not giving them 100 points for five prizes of choice down the line.

- Points will be posted each week. If you do not want your name or points posted (I'll keep track of them privately) you can simply send me a message.

Excuse me, I just want to ask what's the meaning of "on the entire Prontera map"? Does it mean Prontera City or the whole Prontera Region? I'm asking because there are lots of Guard Post and Benches found outside of Prontera City itself, wonder if you want us to count those in as well?
