Just a heads up, this week we do not have the usual TWIR broadcast preceding Tiki Tuesday. We have a archived google hangout video where CM Maridah and I answered questions from the community which you can watch here. Ask your Qs in this thread and we’ll do our best to answer them tomorrow during the Tiki Tuesday stream.

For today, getting some cyberpunk tunes going with a few of my favorite Retro New Wave artists. This is a genre of heavy synth, pulse pounding drum machines and all the 80s nostalgia you can stand. This is the soundtrack for driving home at night in the rain, neon lit city ahead of you.

couple of questions: 

 

Can we buff the job exp reward from the Eden 131-140 quests?  Currently it is awarding four times (!) base vs job.  most people are not close to job 50 by the time they hit 150 anyway, so I'm not sure why the disparity is so large.

Also, one of the 131-140 quests requires you to kill incarnations of morroc, but there appears to be a large cooldown that prevents players from entering those maps as a result of the below quest.  Can we have that CD removed?  It's not like the rewards from this quest are that great anyway.

Hello!

 

I was reading through some threads about the low TI map, and I absolutely loved what renouille suggested to become the new low ti map.

 

 

How about changing the map to edic_dun02l?

This map looks larger than the old turtle dungeon map, which could fit the growing crowd in low TI, is a nice change of scenery for those who wanted to look at something new or might have never seen, and is in a dungeon which most people prefer to have their Tis in.

 

Yes, we might be able to try that out this week.

Are any of the so-called "Limited" items ever going to be removed from the Kafra Shop? I'd guess a lot of the items have been in there for about 6 months or more. Some of these items are listed under Gear also.

 

Can you please post answers this week?

 

These will likely stick around as long as we have limited amounts of new items of those categories from HQ. Once we get more new items we can phase those out.

can the catch rate of fish be increased for the fishing event? or the point amount required be lowered... for a set of armor thats situational at best its going to take forever to do this quest... especially when sometimes it just steals your bait...

 

The trick to the fishing event is to use the right bait with the right area, also the further away a location is from Prontera, the more valuable the fish will be. We will add Nifflheim.

can cooldown fishing rate reduced? the egir set is already account bound so it doesn benefit botters since it is unsellable.

 

We can look at reducing the cooldown, but we don't want users standing in the same place fishing spot!

1. Is there any particular reason why there's a fishing ripple next to the Information Staff NPC in Izlude? It's on a sidewalk. Might want to move that to the ocean nearby.

Farming for hats is no longer a thing. The majority of good headgears are bought off boxes or kafra shops. There are also people complaining about people not going around to explore.

What are ways to make this game more appealing to those grinding monsters for a specific headgear they want. This was THE THING TO DO back when RO came out and now you just have to wait until the Kafra Shop has the item you want. Perhaps there is a way to bring in medium valued items to drop these hats at new places? This will encourage people to be rewarded not just for exploring but to be given an objective without necessarily attempting to have one.

It wouldn't be our call. kRO decides whether the stuff we get sent is to be distributed via the cash shop or other means. If kRO say "cash shop only", then it needs to be sold in the cash shop and that's the only way anyone is getting their hands on it.

 

Kinda sucks for us, but it's all about da moniez.

Will the changes actually be fixed to the new classic dungeon? and still waiting on the medicine bowls in the mail annex room QQ (it has everything but bowls which makes no sense)

Can you add Mental Potions to kafra shop or include them in lucky boxes/groove packs more often? :(

Was wondering if there's any progress with the pet dialogue issue for the ones who don't have one, i asked a long way back (maybe a bit less than a year ago) and you told me something could definetily be done about it :<.

I asked this before and I keep asking what the harm in implementing this feature since it was a pre-renewal thing on the Ymir server:

 

When we have Turn-in NPC's in Classic, why can't we choose all Job or all base exp? It was something that existed before Renewal and everyone I talk to from the old days are surprised that this feature is not in, and it just leaves this incomplete feeling on my characters I would like to finish my job levels in / play my 99 characters and party more. I can't really see why this is such a negative, never-implement-again thing but any explanation I would greatly appreciate!

 

Also, for the Classic Dungeons, would you consider TI-NPC's so when I want to party people I don't get rejected because I'm not in range?

 

We can definitely consider than when we change the dungeon event next. We will look into the NPCs.

What are the next batch of cards that you will be adding? we're still missing cards from previous updates and nightmare scaraba hall. 

 

We have an update we should be receiving this month, if it has updated cards we will definitely let you know.

Just noticed, payon cave already have bounty board for Archer Skeleton, Munak and Bongun, so we are having two bounty board for these mobs?

Could you add the WoE supply boxes as an optional reward to TIs (ID etc) to allow guildleaders to party with their members and run their guild?\

 

The amount of supply boxes that drop in the challenge dungeon is greatly increased starting this week.

So you're saying you guys are going to keep flooding the market, with these items, till you have new items you can put in? That doesn't really make sense since new items should be released in Groove Packs, & Lucky Boxes, like they always have been. Granted I haven't been playing long but you guys just keep adding more gear, that's already on the market, & has been in boxes. IMO the only reason this is happening is so that you guys can make more money regardless of the effect it is having on the market.

Obviously that one should be removed since these are meant to take the place of the current ones.

I really do want that Bankrupt Mask for my Stalker. It's so perfectly suited, I just can't take it.

 

I will kill one Poring every hour, on the hour, until my demands are met. Their deaths will be on your hands and hearts.

 

Should I not have a Bankrupt Mask in my possession at MOST one week from today, I will target Masterings, and kill their entire families while they watch.

  1. Are we expecting the +160 level expansion in October?
  2. Will turn-in system expand to accommodate the new level expansion? Doesn't have to be on the day of release but any time later of course.
  3. Does iRo have the rights to modify monsters HP? If so, some MvPs are in need for an HP boost. Why? First, to give players a kill chance against those with high output dps even if it means there is little chance to win. Currently, some MvPs can be 1 shotted due to the low HP and the high damage done. Secondly, an indirect fix to one of the none spawning MvP Tomb bugs.
