Thank you for confirming my thoughts.

Is there anything else I should know about Defilers?
Oh, there is one more thing I still don't know.. How does the physical defense work? I mean, I now know how magic resistance works, but I've no idea yet about physical defense..

Greezt,
Wannabegooddefi

Defense reduces damage taken by a percentage but with diminishing returns and caps at 80% reduction (at ~2.7k def or so).

Thank you. Seems we aren't sure about it, but it's a lot better than nothing. In fact now I know I don't really have to boost my def to an insane high lv.. (not that I was ever gonna be able to, but still).

is it possible to escape Terms of Service after you have been stunned by it? Coz thats what i saw happen for the first time despite all the high level ppl in PvP i trapped having never once escaped before the timer was out.

Yes I do it all the time hehe. Learned it when coors was still sr and he dashed out of my trap in a trifri duel.

In that case you just fear them.. Always fun to see them running around doing nothing for 30 sec., lolz.
Terms of Service will be ready again for ya by the time fear runs out

and ofcourse we're total dicks and actually let them run around for, say, 25 seconds of the 30 before we trap.

We play with our food :3.

I have to agree completely with this

Btw, I leveled to 60 now, and I'm really enjoying my new skills! (and I updated a post at page 2 with damage calculations now)
Terms of Service doesn't even fail a lot, and at times I even grind without it, lolz..

But what combination do you guys recommend?

I use mostly this:
gather mobs
- Terms of Service
- Deadly Fog
- Curse Effect
- Blood Storm
Then pick up all the items, and start over again..

Should I switch the order of my skills?

To maximize the damage over time, you want both ground aoes out as soon as possible after Terms of Service; though if you are fighting particularly nasty mobs, you can Terms of Service + curse effect + ground aoes... and finish off with another curse effect and have just enough time to grain some distance before Terms of Service ends. Then again, at 60 you should be fighting nonelite mobs, so you can pull up to 16 mobs and drop all your aoes, should kill all 16 without taking too much damage yourself (after a mob dies, Terms of Service traps another in its place; 16 nonelites should easily die using all your skills in 1 Terms of Service).

16 looks just a bit too much for solo grind.. In duo grind sure, at least if the partner can heal me up when the situation would require it.

At lv 60 I have:
- 0487 p.def
- 3979 evasion
- 2394 HP (= with a costume and svs lv 50 thing)
- 0501 INT
- 226-242 mag.atk
- +17% curse effect damage from passive skill

And with those numbers, I can kill around 8-12 normal lv 59 mobs on my own without real danger.. How come you are taking up to 16, or let me ask you this in another way, what the hell am I doing wrong? (I know one thing already, I still have to enchant my ornaments with skill crit xeons, and maybe I shouldn't be using my +30 lv 50 int weap and +30 lv 50 int shield anymore (however I still think getting something better is way too expensive and not worth it before I turn lv 65), but besides that??)

Maybe it's just me who isn't really totally comfortable with the new skills yet, and am I actually taking less mobs than I really can handle. Could be..

Greetz,
Wannabegooddefi

hmm that vamp touch grind really does look fun, i must admit.

and regarding the 2nd one, well eva is nice against melee attacks, but still it wont help to avoid skills. especially the damage/stuns of those js mobs.

this second vid is hardly tanking...with 2 defis and elem or wl basically any class can "tank" it

i been doing me (temp), 2 defis, wl/elem + mystic or any random class parties and i end up pulling cos of templars op heal then first defi Terms of Service and mobs die before 2nd Terms of Service runs out

only got like 550 def and just shy of 4k hp...with hp buff 6k = plenty

and if any defi gets stunned either i or mystic heals and easy peasy

Evasion isn't worth the skill point/enchant slot drain.

As new DNA define ur build, i would say that is not a waste if u go for a PVP build, eva rate is about 70-80% of hits when is more than 20k. even with just prot defense/heals (prot stay there without taunt) i can get a full room in JS

pd: i cant kill 18 nagas with HP/Defense set i use for pvp.

I know evasion works well in pve. I was saying its useless in pvp when you can better enchant something like resistance. I will say that is some nice naga grind there, not sure on the js stuns. Also how come your vamp works so well?

Also if you grind in normal js pt you dont need evasion so power build is best. Thats why I was saying skip evasion. Not sure if your naga grind is faster though.

Pretty much faster than JS.

otherwise, i have got full resistence (but water) without enchanting resist on armor (TB shield, bra, neck, ring, ear) 5 pieces +6~+7 full enchanted

why so many :S

I have capped res with wand shield and res power. when I get a better wand I'll get a brace and that's bout it :s
I barely use att power in pvp, mostly switch around svs costume and tbf resi. ornament is more important imo.

I love DOMINATOR RESIST BUILD, and i like to stay in the middle with full resist and svs costume at the same time >.< that is why i took 5 theme items, if u noticed i dont use Power Resist to get ca.

Also i can cap with Shield/Wand/Power resist, but my dmg/hp/defense is way lower (not dmg boost on wand)
