I'm having an issue with my Eleanor (from Vanil).

She doesn't attack any monsters that I've set in the Homunculus Tactics (Attack Top, Attack High or any kind of Attack). She just reacts to those monsters only when the owner's being attacked by them.

My currently AggroHP and AggroSP are set to 0.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

A bug has been reported in tanking mode. Please refrain from using the Tank tactic until it is corrected.

Azzy. after several hours of no problems my sera has started going randomly braindead while sitting next to me in OD2, several times now it literally won't move until manually moved ( minutes or more ) and has this in the trace:

I've turned the painkiller options off and will test more tomorrow after classes, but it seems to be getting randomly stuck in a autobuff / painkiller loop and not picking up targets.

Do you have it set to ASAP? If so, please set it to Idle. I think I added a warning that it could cause freezes if ASAP is set, and to not use that while unattended.

Hmm. There seem to be some bug compare to the previous Ai. Now my sera wont cast painkiller on me and will only cast only to my friends even i leave it at default idle or ASAP. And If i were to manually cast painkiller on myself, an error will pop up and prevent me from manually casting pain killer on myself

I've updated v1.551 to fix this - I'd forgotten that you can't safely concatenate nil in lua and failed to check for it in 1.551. 

 

Please redownload v1.551 and reinstall, or just replace AzzyUtil.lua with http://www.drazzy.co...52/AzzyUtil.lua

Can you try this as a test? Set UseSeraPainkiller to 1. Summon your homun, then vaporize it. 

 

Post the contents of AAIStartH.txt 

 

 

I ask because if your homun is 99, it doesn't have poison mist, let alone painkiller - so it should be automatically detecting that it's way too low of a level to have painkiller and turning the option off, and leaving a note about it in AAIStartH.txt

 

The fact that it still was trying would indicate that a fundamental problem with how I'm detecting the presence or absence of poison mist. 

 

I know the AI doesn't deal well with UseSeraPainkiller enabled when you don't have the skill. It was unintended that this was on by default in 1.551 (this will be corrected in 1.552).

I don't see a smoking gun there - it all looks like it should be working, but I haven't had a chance to attempt reproducing it with those config file. I realized though that I forgot to ask for something very important

 

In your RO folder (not the AI folders), check for AAIStartH.txt - if that file is present, post the contents here. 

 

If that file is NOT present, AzzyAI is not being loaded by the game at all - either it's not installed properly, or you forgot /hoai

 

If you post AAIStartH and it looks okay, I'll try to reproduce the issue with your config files tonight

I wasn't asking you for the AAIStartH, but I am very glad you posted it because the problem is crystal clear. 

 

You are using 1.54. The painkiller pathing in 1.54 had problems with hangs like you are describing.

 

Please update to 1.551, and report back. Please again include the AAIStartH.txt if you report any issues. 

 

AAIStartH is not reporting any legitimate errors - the reported error is a bug in the error reporting. 

 

 

Re-edit - nevermind, when I checked the kits, it was correct. What I said above is correct.

Pro tip to Ami owners with bloodlust - Set UseOffensiveBuff to Berserk, and UseBerserkMobbed to a number of monsters. Then, it will only use bloodlust if it's got at least that many monsters on you + homun (combined). Finding it very helpful in OD1, when sometimes spawn waves leave your homun drowning in mobs. Just wish that cooldown was shorter! In that situation in OD1, it's also critical to set it to rescue you from orc skeletons and zombies if you can't tank large numbers of them (I'm doing it on a barely geared 102 baby, and I hardly ever have to pot up.)

When I load that up, it attacks stuff just fine - but I don't have a vani->elly to test with (I just deleted my elly)

Can you do the following?

In your RO folder, delete the following files (if present):
AAI_ERROR.txt
AAI_SKILLFAIL.txt
AAIStartH.txt
TraceAI.txt

Summon your homunculus, and get into a situation where it should be attacking things and it is not. Type /traceai. Wait like 10 seconds (the client will probably lag like all hell), then /traceai again.

This will create a trace file, TraceAI.txt. I want that file, plus any of the ones I told you to delete, if they were created again after you deleted them. The files are probably too large to post on forums, so upload them to any free file host, or pm me for my email address.

I did what you've said, and here are the AAIStartH.txt and TraceAI.txt:

(Situation: There were a Mantis and a Mi Gao at that moment. She should be attacking the Mi Gao, but (of course) no. Also she didn't care about the Mantis too, though it was attacking me - her owner)

 

Beside, I discover something that (I thought) would be able to do with all these problems. I deleted the AAIStartH.txt and AAI_ERROR.txt, after gave them a look. There were some kind of PVP Tactics errors reported in the AAI_ERROR.txt. So I turned off the PVPmode (set it to False) then did all the steps that you've told me to. The result is in the link above. It never creates a new AAI_ERROR.txt though.

 

I want you to have a look at those PVP Tactics errors anyway, so I turn on the PVPmode, set the Basic Behavior in the PVP Tactics from React (High) to Attack (Top). As soon as I summoned her, she attacked everything on the screen at that moment. I did a /traceai too. Here are the 2nd TraceAI.txt and the AAI_ERROR.txt I was talking about. I hope they will be helpful.

You're not playing on a pserver are you? AzzyAI does not acquire targets correctly on pservers.

Atually I am playing on a pserver. But if I use the previous version of AzzyAI (the 1.54 one), it seems to acquire targets just fine. But something is wrong with the Eleanor's Combos and I really wanna try all the new features we have with AzzyAI 1.551. Considering any change you make between these two version, is there anything you can do 'bout my situation?

I have not made any changes in the target acquisition code - I cannot explain why it worked before.

As I have said in the faq http://www.drazzy.com/ro/ai/faq.shtml , I have no plans to add support for private servers.

then i made a new tactic for mercenary for id 1042 steel_chonchon for ignore.
but the mercenary still attacks them.


Are they both running on the same client and everything?

Is livemobid set on both? Is both /hoai and /merai set (so both are using custom AI)?
