[Event] 10/8 Halloween Quest Guide! - Updated 10/22 (See Rewards)

Someones getting kinky with sexual innuendos here . So this squid thing is equip able? Account bound? Is is a repeatable quest with a cool down timer? Is this quest per character or account? Feel free to write your dissertations if you wish.

After I finished the quest, it didn't give me any timer... though I wish it was repeatable for the exp

They will eventually make it repeatable, probably when the item becomes a hat of some sorts.

Hi, can someone help me? As u can see, I just killed the "unholy ghost" and I accidentaly pressed my bwing. So, I went back to nifflehiem and enter the portal again but it wont let me. Can someone help me how to re-enter the map so I can grab my reward?

in order to use that link properly always start with 789 and then input the results you get in game into the calculator.

Will report it as another bug, you're supposed to have access until the final step is completed.
 

I can't click the Undead Recruiter NPC in step 4.

Any help would be nice!

Might not have completed the previous steps in the guide, you could try retalking to them.

The event NPCs are rude. They should at least say something that will tell people that they skipped a step, instead of just ignoring them.

so that giant squid will transform to animated WPH costume. meh, i expect something more than that.

That's already on the list of what bugs are being fixed, they ALL have alternative dialogs for when you aren't in the step, but none of them were working.

So, will this be repeatable after tomorrow's maintenance?

Yup.
 

it might just be an exp reward.  thinking of something like, "remember when you sealed the unholy ghost away?  the seals weren't as strong as originally thought and we need a new set of materials.  we'll give you some exp for your trouble.  no hats though; you only have one head anyway :U"

Nope, you can get multiple hats, and the exp reward, and it's excruciatingly easy to repeat. There will be another reward next week where you will get to choose what item reward you want. (assuming nothing goes wrong again)

does it have any stats?

Not sure if it has any stats, all I was told is that it's a costume version of WPH that is animated.

Also, you should be able to trade in your squids to danielle in prontera (the starting npc)
