[renewal] Question to renewal players

No I played enough years of pre ren ill stay on this ren till it dies then no more ro. simple

No. I would love to play classic WoE but I am not interested in starting from scratch JUST to WoE. I already tried it and it was not very fun. Now if I were able to create a 99/70 character with WoE gears included I would definitely join in but probably just for WoE. I love renewal and really would rather spend the very little free time I have making progress there, plus all my friends are on renewal.

You'd have to move all my friends and guildies in order to get me to play classic

My thoughts on transfer options:

Maximum of three characters per account can be transferred. If they're 3rd class, they'll just be reduced to whatever you went to 3rd class from (If you didn't go trans, it will be a regular 2nd class and if you didn't go job 70 then they will be at 99/xx, whatever you changed at).

No MVP or Miniboss cards.

No Bee, Valk or SM gear.

Maximum of 3 of the same gears / cards brought over.

 This^ I'd limit the upgrade limit to like +9? +10's are too readily available on renewal. We want people to join the server not dominate it.

Other than that yeah Id transfer a couple characters over. Never really liked renewal all that much. So yeah offer it up gms.

Hmmm. If I could get my guild mates to switch, and I can bring stuff I bought with KP (or swap them for free for Classic equivalent), then yes. I'd go.

EDIT- Also, if I could bring a few mil zeny too. You can take all the gear, all items (except Kafra Shop or Equivalent) but I'd need to be able to take some zeny as well, to get myself "established". Especially since Renewal characters would probably have to re-equip due to change in mechanics...

This is my sentiment as well. I've spent a week or so playing Renewal and I'm already spoiled. There's no way I could do classic.

Actually Xellie on Ninja recaller was pretty damn funny.

I've had enough of pre-renewal leveling back in the day...

If you could transfer a character from renewal to classic (or some kind of shenanigan that allowed you to create a levelled character on classic based on the fact that you own one on renewal) would you do it?

Possibly, but it would depend on marriage status as well as equipment transfer type ( I.E. would the equipment be "cloned" so I don't lose it on renewal where I share it between all my characters ) and cost - it would have to be free.  If re-marriage would be required I wouldn't be interested, I already paid millions of zeny once before, and have no interest in paying real money for marriage carts through WP. 

Personally I would LOVE  to have my 8x-9x decently geared scholar + linker on a server that 1vs1 HS can actually level on... as you may have heard me complaining about when the classic server started up .   Unfortunately I wouldn't be able to play all that often, but it would be a blast to log on for some HS fun every once and a while. 

Essentially, if you VIP your renewal-only account receive a free level 90 trans or 99 extended class on classic.

No xfers whatsoever. There are too many exploits when transferring things that I can see a lot of things being messed up. Not to mention the massive influx of +9's.

Back when the renewal servers were separated I know that "people" xferred 100's of valhalla flowers / god pieces / multiple mvps / high end consumables from valkyrie to ygg. Basically because of GM incompetence. It is 100% safer on their side to just make you a 90 trans.

i quit playing shortly before renewal came out, due to the fact that i was working 60+ hours a week, and my spear knight(at that time) was and had been in the 80's for months due to the ridiculous amount of exp that was needed.........so no, i have no desire to play on classic for months(and by months i mean years) just to barely get a character to first job change........sorry, thought classic was a bad idea when people first started asking for it

I would. Just to save me the day it takes to 99 a new char.
