Well, you only need a good printer and a paper with more and enough thickness (the standard one is too thin), in any stationery store you can find it. And some skills to adjust printer settings and to align it in the two sides.

Aww, I knew it was too good to be true. But excellent job on the printing.

They are manjuu.

Do want Emp!

@The whole "If Grav would sell them" idea

The thing with RO merchandises is that they're made by many different companies. If Gravity want to sell them over here they'd need to get licence rights and whatnot, which can probably get expensive and may not be worth the effort. :T

Wait, what?

First of all, in order for these companies to even create the stuff, they have to get licensing from Gravity Co. itself because the characters and creatures are copyrighted TO Gravity. I don't see how it would be hard for Gravity Interactive to get licensing for the merchandise if they're a branch company. If anything, it should be easier for Gravity Interactive to get licensing than GungHo or any of the other RO publishers. The only problem I see is that it would cost quite a bit to get them exported and sold here.

I don't know how copyright and whatnot works but most of those merchandises seem to come from Japan, so it went through something like company -> GungHo -> Gravity KR? Who knows if that means some extra steps/fees Gravity US is gonna have to go through/pay for if they are to want to get those stuffs over? For all we know the merchandise could be something GungHo/jRO commissioned for and are never meant to leave Japan. =\ (A certain laptop with Poring/RO's logo offered in Japan a year or two ago comes to mind.)

If they don't have licensing permission from Gravity Co. these items, technically, shouldn't exist. I remember SquareEnix raised a big stink on some companies that made replicas of Final Fantasy weapons because they didn't have licensing permission to sell them.

The fact that these are here and Gravity Co. isn't doing anything about it means that those merchandise companies have got licensing permission to make and sell their RO-related products. Unless GungHo sells them on their RO site or directs players to these companies, it's highly unlikely they have anything to do with the merchandise.

And, of course, only the cool stuff comes from Japan.

You can import Japanese goods to sell... There are tons of stores that do this already. It ranges from run of the mill grocery items to the awesome collectible nerd stuff we all want.

I'm not sure exactly how it works but I assume it's like your average business model. As in, the store has to be a licensed distributor for the goods in question (or just have a wholesale license in some cases), and they probably pay a notable amount importing the items.

I think the problem is that it's not really profitable for the business. A lot of this stuff is expensive by default and it has a really niche audience... That's why you rarely see actual store fronts for these items. The English speaking retailers mainly use the internet to avoid having to maintain the cost of renting a store.

And as for items that are not "supposed" to be sold outside of the country... I've seen other Japanese companies do similar things. I'm not entirely sure why they do it, but I think it's mostly to show they have a strict standard for their business. Limiting who can buy it and where they can buy it seems to promote brand loyalty and trust in the company.. It also makes the goods more desirable.

One really good example of this is Volks. You can't order some of their products without a Japanese home address and they only have one licensed store outside of Japan... And that store only has limited products as most are Japan only. Their website is even more limited.

I want another Ragnarok Online baseball cap. We had one of those in the past, but that was years ago, and mines looking kinda old now :-/

I have one of the original Deviruchi (iRO hotdog) shirts. Think it was from the same event. I <3'd that shirt. Now its worn out beyond repair though...man how long ago was that event...2005 it seems from the event log on the site. Posted Image

I'd like to see some Warp Portal shirts too...I really thought the ones you guys were wearing during the UStream were pretty awesome.

They should make Poring candy, little jube jubes shaped like porings poporings marins etc, then add rare jubes shaped like angeling / deviling / arch etc, I would honestly buy a package of these just to hold onto never to eat.

It now tempts me greatly to make poring-shaped Jello molds to use.

I spent about 100$ in japan and another 80-90 in korea when I was overseas, all on RO cuteness. I'll take a photo some time. It's mostly just little collectible stuff, some plushies, and a wallet and of course RBO :]

I posted a link where you can buy some of the items I posted in the big, many pictures posting. It's some online store. I have an amazon japan account which lets me buy stuff, and I've found 1 or 2 items there. The emperium was a fan-creation from pRO and the cute hats on the first pic are from a guild at USRC I think ages and ages ago.

Gravity was probably interested at importing at one point:

Gravity does NOT need to have licensing to re-sell stuff. The rule of first sale doctrine comes into play here. Basically that means that once Gravity purchases these items they are free to sell them to anyone else they wish ( so long as it does not violate import / export laws by importing / exporting to embargoed countries ).

As a side note if the had a Alchemist / Biochemist zippo  I would so buy it. That wizard one is pretty damn cool but I don't really play that class :(
