They have the assets for delisting. 6,948,900 shares at $0.62 each. Company is worth $75 million.

Should list reason for lost revenues as: (a) Our management is full of idiots who know nothing about business. (B) Our developers are unqualified and know nothing about developing games.

I also hate the stalling game, and Gravity Interactive development team is horrible. I would hate if they were in charge of any further development considering they are arming themselves with band aids and leeches to improve the health of their games.

As someone reported:

So apparently they have been listed on another nasdaq index and have been granted another 180 day grace period to get their shares to the minimum price of 1.00.

I'm guessing they have until March now to get their stuff together?

They now only list 1 pc mmo they are developing. Who is working on Ragnarok 2 now?

Their list of mobile games has shrunken significantly.

http://www.gravity.c...games/index.asp

I like how their subtext for that page is "Pursuing new things" since they can't even manage their current things.

I wonder who GRAVITY outsourced development of RO2 to. That would explain why the game has been on the decline since the Advent of Valkyrie update.

I have a hard time believing iRO will ever change. You need to remember, this is not a game, this is a business.

They have a SOUND business model. Make all consumables micro transactions. I have no doubt they hit the $1mil USD a year mark on microtransactions.

Yes there is license fees, employees, hardware to maintain but i have no doubt in my mind iRO is making profit in the bucket loads, probably enough to support kRO too.

It would definitely be nice if it was actually run as a game tho, to be fun for the players. There is nothing wrong with having micro transaction content. But it should NEVER been consumables!
(Oh look i just spent $50 USD on an imaginary piece of material that i watched break a piece of gear i needed and turned into digital pixie dust, YAY I GET TO SPENT ANOTHER $50 USD NEXT PAY!)

It should also be items that can ALWAYS be farmed by non payers aswell. Micro transactions should always cater to saving time, not gaining advantage or being a money sink.

GRAVITY is the one playing games when they left official servers outdated to the point people flocked to pservers in retaliation to the neglect. It's rather bad business to mismanage your own game so much that you're losing money more often than you profit.

>tfw will never be able to buy all rights from RO and relaunch the game only with global servers with no publishers involved, all fixed, non-stupid development and a freaking working quest system

well what did they do in 2008?  they could always buy back shares, that would drive the price up.

sorry for the LATE replay
but, iv been looking at the stock market and the upgrades in RO.
what they did back then, was they brought in the trans class and the turn in event.
back then, there was no cooldown timer, so people could get to lvl 99, trans then 99 again in 3 days to a week.
a lot of people left, because it would normally take months, even years to get to 99, they felt like they have been cheated, so most of them left for P.Servers.
iv also heard that it was because the GM's suck and didn't really care about the game. nerfing everything doesn't help too.
i also think they are missing some formulas for some classes or its messed up, so people cant figure out exactly what equipment and stats they need to get, to make the damage they want

and now it seems like they are trying to make people buy lots of KP (Black Friday Kafra) to try and raise their stock.
atm the price is 0.58 as of Jan. 2 2015

anyone also notice the mess on ragial? @.@

Gravity gave Dream Square mobile development and distribution rights of Ragnarok Online (in china). Yep pretty much sums up Gravity admitted their development team sucks.

They probably slapped in RO 2 at a discounted price to sweeten the deal.

Hmm from what I understand of the rough google translation of the article that's linked (http://www.4gamer.ne...83/20150122040/), it just says that Dream Square is publishing RO2 in China and that they're also gonna be developing a mobile game that is based on RO >.>

So Kunlun is in charge of cRO and Dream Square is in charge of cRO2. 2 publishing companies for 2 different Ragnarok games. I don't see how that means Dream Square is hosting another cRO server. They're making a game based on RO, but it's not distribution rights for RO.

So GRAVITY managed to save their unholy butts.

After the Company effected a 1-for-8 reverse split on May 11, 2015, NASDAQ has determined that for the last 10 consecutive business days, from May 11 to May 22, 2015, the closing bid price of the Company’s American Depositary Shares(“ADS”) has been at US$ 1.00 per share or greater. Accordingly, the Company has regained compliance with Listing Rule 5550(a)(2) and this matter is now closed.

But they're losing even more money from jRO and iRO.

Mobile game and application revenues were KRW 4,203 million (US$ 3,794 thousand) for the first quarter of 2015, representing a 26.5% increase QoQ from KRW 3,322 million and a 2.6% decrease YoY from KRW 4,317 million. The increase QoQ resulted primarily from increased revenues from mobile applications for a third party and Ragnarok Online—Uprising: Valkyrie. The decrease YoY was mainly driven by decreased revenues from mobile game operation service for a third party and decreased revenues from Road to Dragons.

Royalty and license fee revenues for the first quarter of 2015 were KRW 2,512 million (US$ 2,268 thousand), representing a 13.2% decrease QoQ from KRW 2,895 million and a 29.7% decrease YoY from KRW 3,575 million. The decrease QoQ was primarily due to decreased revenue from Ragnarok Online in Japan. The decrease YoY resulted mainly from decrease revenue from Ragnarok Online in Japan and the strengthening of the Korean Won against the Japanese Yen.

Subscription revenues for the first quarter of 2015 were KRW 1,698 million (US$ 1,533 thousand), representing a 26.9% decrease QoQ from KRW 2,322 million and a 10.2% decrease YoY from KRW 1,890 million. The decrease QoQ was mainly attributable to a decrease in revenues from Ragnarok Online in Korea and to decreased revenues from Ragnarok Online and Ragnarok Online II in the United States and Canada. The decrease YoY was largely due to decreased revenues from online games, including Ragnarok Online and Ragnarok Online II in the United States and Canada.

I'd love to see what black magic was behind them propping up their stock price. so what's the grace period before they get another warning for sub dollar prices?

edit: nvm, I see what they did. from the sec filing and this link it looks like they did a share buyback. with money they don't have, but w/e. at least now they are off the NASDAQ naughty list :Uc

They did the reverse split of 1:8. the share price before the split (0.50 cents or so) is multiplied by 8.

It is not a share buy back. I already predicted they would do that in order to keep their price above $1.

good point, reverse stock splits don't change the value of the company, and doesn't require any outlay of cash, which is good since they didn't have any to begin with.

I may have imagined it but I am pretty sure I recall Oda mentioning that not all revenue from iRO was being recorded properly, something to do with Steam?

Oda did say they were losing money because of the extra commission for Steam hosting.

no the steam thing was resolved. the way they were accounting for it the $15 for vip+1500 kp deal on steam made it seem like they were losing money. however by changing it to $20 for vip+2000 kp seemed to fix it. that's why that's the vip package now.

Except that's not reflected in this report since that was a more recent change so we'll have to wait for the next report to see if they're still losing money or not.

Are there filings for Gravity Interactive? I wouldn't think so since iRO is a private company.
