You can't reliably get INT from standard honing, so you're free to choose whatever honing powder you desire. I personally prefer using Vigor and Defense powders for my battle tactics warrior.

One (expensive) option worth noting: Precise Honing Hammers can be used to reroll for INT on equipment honing lines 3-5, but your equipment will only receive up to 50% of the full INT value. In other words, each precision honing line will be half as effective as one received directly from the initial hone, but you can theoretically stack more INT on your gear this way.

Regardless of your build I recommend vigor or PvP increase/decrease for all your hones.  IMO, the other hones are not as beneficial as these three secondary stats, and most are useless.  I personally hone everything except my gloves (I use T2) with vigor until the first two lines have INT, vigor, or PvP bonuses.  Then I just precise hone lines 4 and 5 if they need be.  I am afk most of the day on weekdays, but nights and weekends I am always online.  If you want any other tips on warriors, feel free to message/mail me or come find me in ch 4 Prontera in front of AH ^^

Hmm 13 INT is kind of low on pants. What gear are you using? Few things to keep in mind:

Higher level gear gets better hones:

Cazar > Himmelmez > Osiris

Higher rated gear gets better hones:

4 star > 3 star > 2star

Not all gear types hone equally:

Sword > mail > helm > pants > gloves > shoes

Long story short, if you want a lot of INT from hones then try getting INT on sword, mail, and helm and try to get 4 star if possible.

Precise hone hammer is an item that that let's you hone just one line of stat. Keep in mind you can only hone lines 3, 4, and 5. Lines 1 and 2 are not precise honeable and will always be a different stat from each other. Also. Precise hone can only yield you HALF of the maximum value for any stat on that gear. For example: If you hone a 3 star Cazar sword a single line of INT may have a value of 50-150, but with precise hone it will only be 25-75.

I play on Odin unfortunately, I'm sorry >.< Feel free to drop me a message on the forums anytime though :3

I'm curious to know, since this topic is about honing, how much worth is having attack power lines in the hone. I've read that most of our damage comes from min-max values of the weapon and not so much from atkp anymore (new formula dictates so), so how good is it to have 1k attack power from the hone on the weapon for example compared to INT, vigor or agi ?

I'm inclined to think it's not so much worthy since it doesn't affect the min-max values but our general atk power.

And to reply on the OP, vigor is indeed much wanted for warriors, I recommend to have at the very least 1k vigor, I'm personally at 1455 on my warrior and 45,73% cd decrease and still want more. If your build is full INT and you enjoy PVPing, a bit of VIT is also recommended to avoid being 1shotted too often. AGI is good also, try to reach 33% critrate if possible, I believe it's a good reference value for critrate to warriors.

Getting AP is treated as a replacement for str, so it isn't really bad.

Also, I stopped getting more int after achieving 1k int. Leftovers go to vit

My Gear is Osiris set. Now I try to re-honing my gear to get more INT.
Is the redseed and blueseed affect the stat from honing too??..
Thanks before.. ^^

Attack power is no where as effective as they use to be.  It still helps, but I would much rather have a guaranteed line of vigor or PVP dmg increase than attack power.  Even a precise honed INT or VIT line with only half value is more beneficial than attack power IMO.

Exactly my thoughts. I rehoned my GS who had nice attack power lines two times until I got 200+str, 3%PVP dmg increase and 143 vigor.

Having 200+ str is even better than having 600 attack power because they also give parry and hit.

Uh what do the different percents mean? Like, what is the difference between 10% polish and 50% polish?

You have a 50% chance to receive at least one Vigor line on your honed equipment using a 50% Vigor Polish. Likewise for all other polish/percentages.

10% polish makes it easier to get other stats because you get a lower chance of having >insert honing box name here<.

This is off memory cause I'm not home, but here is what I got on my Himmelmez set:

Sword - Two lines 120+, one line 70+ (precise hone)

Mail - One line 60+

Helm - Three lines 40+, one line 25+ (precise hone)

Pants - Two lines 25+

Gloves - I would assume you can get around 15-30 on gloves (I have no hones since I use T2)

Shoes - Two lines 15+

My gear are all 3 star except my pants are 4 star.
