Good nerf on the damage reduction, they had it coming for awhile. A 30% reduction might seem like a lot but they recently nerfed damage so it won't be too bad. But my main concern is why only 10% for protection? seems like a wasted skill now unless it's a typo.

 

@filipito actually you can tank 3 mages depending on the gear and buffs you have atleast in training grounds

Sorry, but as a knight player, I really dissapointed with the recent update. Damage reduction skill is now useless because it is only 10%... Degraded too far, from 50% to only 10%... Please re-consider about this. I think 50% damage reduction is still fair and not unbeatable, because the skill still has cooldown and the knight already low in damage, so this update will make knight unusable because it is not tanker anymore... About the rosasite cushion, champion can use it too, and damage redcution is not big enough, so it is still fair I think... Please re-consider about this update and my opinion too.. Thanks a lot.

There was a change to the formula in how powerful the stat works. So a reduction was needed. You are welcome to come on to Pegasus and test out the changes, so you can see how they feel, rather than speculate on the numbers that are being changed, along with other mechanics that are involved.

 

Finally scouts get some attention.

Skills are getting changed, so of course there's going to be a skill reset given for Scouts. :) But that's only once we're done with testing on Pegasus and the changes reach the live servers.

It wasn't a typo at the time, but with additional feedback and continued development evolution, we're making adjustments so that the skill will retain a matching value to that of a Knight's Guard, however the skill will only be able to be cast on other targets, and not on yourself as a Knight, so you cannot double the duration of the effect. The Protection skill was intended to be used only on allies as a means to support them, not extend the Knight's survival from its effect.


Looks like SOMETHING is being done and i'm a little curious about this new dungeon and what exactly is going to happen...

As we hit miles stones that lets us share more about the dungeon, we'll post what we can to help give sneak peeks on what's to come. :)

Maintenance Update

Server maintenance is getting closer to being done. We're waiting on one particular server that has probably the most abuse out of all of them. The login server. :) It's still working its way through its maintenance. All the rest are done and ready to go, so, just... that... one... server.... :wall:

Sure, can you tell me how you do it? :)

 

We still haven't been able to reliably reproduce it. Because of that, we can't figure out what's causing it. We know it exists and it happens, but we're not able to pinpoint why, which makes it pretty impossible to fix until we do. How do you fix something when you can't see how it breaks? :( And we don't want to just start changing things to see how it works, that's tinkering and wastes our time and possibly causes additional issues.

I have an idea I believe its the stack passive If I remember correctly it increases mspeed as you continue to melee. Id have to log in to tell you the name of it forgot.

Whats the raider mspeed bug? Is it the one where you occasionally get extremely high mspeed cliented sided but not server sided? If so, that can happen to all classes, not just raiders.

Leonis to get the speed bug activated. When you use the raider, get the skill Adrenaline rush that adds MSPD as part of the stacks. Then have a person start running, and have your raider chase and keep normal attacking the running player. When the stacks kick in, usually it causes MSPD bug. It also happens just during 1v1 pvps, if you try to run with adrenaline rush stack going it will MSPD bug it...anyway that's my suggestions to replicate the bug.

It has something to do with Adrenaline Rush (increased aspd and mspd stacking buff) and the usage of HoT food (goulash in most lvl 230 cases). You guys should try using 2 katar raiders, do a pvp and use some of that food while raider's accordance triggers. Keep the character sheet window open and see if the movement speed skyrockets.

Any class's that have the movement speed passive gets the glitch mainly Raiders & mages depends if you have the passive.

Agreed it happens to at least the scouts as well. For instance, back during the Halloween event, I was running from storage to the front gate to attack some of the mobs that spawn, I was switching gears from Precious and assorted mspd gear, to my PvM fighting gear. After I got it all switched over I hit my camo and my speed jumped up to over 18000 mspd.

Indeed it does happen to many characters. But that was just an example for them to replicate it
