not only that but also free equips with the stats we want soo we could rlly test it :D (all items, from IM to others stuffs in a item list :D, click in item n have like in 1 second), hmmm maybe i do have a plan for that

leo, there's no need to put draco or leo data in pegasus, just allow one acc do 8 chars (all the classes (knight/champ, Raider/scout, cleric/mage and bourg/arti) than we can chose the items we want n etc, wen pegasus end (depends the update) u guys restarted all the items n skills in all the accs if that was possible, soo in next time if they come back to pegasus they have the things ready for test :3

They once made all items and such for free available for testing purposes, the only thing it did was that people would mess around with the items/skill resets to test out builds. Did they test what pegasus was open for in the first place? Not at all. Just use what you have, you don't need all that fancy +15 equipments to run tests.

Not to mention the shop bugged often for some reason. So they no longer do that.

It would be cool for sure Filipito... but I think the danger would be to see pegasus being more played than the real servers... if things were like that ;p

hmmm who knows, but im sure devs would find a way for make just pegasus rlly for test n than after updates release they will like close pegasus until next update come

I wish they would upload our characters as well, but I think  before they stated they wouldn't do this.... correct me if I'm wrong(leo)

 

We'll do it eventually, right now we're just trying to get feedback and since Draconis was loaded up, those are what's being tested first. We'll switch eventually to give Leonis players a chance to experience it after we go through a couple stages of tweaks from feedback.
 

 

If anyone ever needs assistance with a reset, I'd be happy to help assist them, but we're not letting the server be special like that anymore because as it was mentioned earlier, it makes testers lose focus on what's needed to be tested at times.

Update to Pegasus

 

Combat formula has been updated, so the Block Amount is affected by the PvP/M Offense/Defense rates as well.

(((Attack Power * (PvP/PvM Offense -  PvP/PvM Defense) - (Blocked Amount * (PvP/PvM Offense -  PvP/PvM Defense)) * Defense Reduction) * (Enhanced Damage - Damage Reduction)) *  Critical * Elemental

 

Additional tweaking has been done to the Enhanced Damage & Damage Reduction stats for various skills

Also the block mechanics was discussed and reviewed with recent combat changes and how powerful a block impacts combat. With the changes to the combat's formula, we are working to reduce the grand scale blocking was playing in damage mitigation, to more of an added advantage, instead of its obvious advantage.

 

Scout
Shield Defense

  • Reduced Maximum Offhand Defense to 35%/40%/45%/50%/55% (was 30%/45%/60%/75%/90%)
  • Reduced Maximum Offhand Magic Defense to 20%/25%/30%/35%/40% (was 30%/45%/60%/75%/90%)

 

Soldier
Shield Mastery

  • Reduced Maximum Offhand Defense to 30%/35%/40%/45%/50% (was 30%/60%/90%/120%/150%)
  • Reduced Maximum Offhand Magic Defense to 15%/20%/25%/30%/35% (was 15%/30%/45%/60%/75%)

Is the 15 prcnt reduction in enhance damage enough to mitigate its damage? Considering an axe always crits because 60 prcnt enhance damage = gg critical with new damage formula

Omg, look like my cleric will have a long winter vacation. The defense of cleric is massively reduced. Worse, the DEV team increases the critical and stack effects of the scout. According to the equation, the raider should have a nice boost in critical, too. In short, most classes gots weaker, except raider and scout.

So if Ehnance dmg is overperr with new formula..some plans to nerf berserek? and what  about Pierce Defense? how it will work now when reductions get nerf?

 

swords don't need nerf on this part? 

 

I cant test with my old  character :D cuz no items :( just glor set ^^

is it still draco data in pegasus??????? when will the updates be live??

 

i disagree in the nerf in mental focus.. because its gonna affect mages too... they have very low survivability and the only thing thats appealing to them is their damage (even though at times its pathetic compared to axe champs and burst damage)

 

find other means to nerf the bc.. that doesnt affect other sub classes

It's not about the BC's, it's about the buffs in general. There's other changes that these reductions gear towards due to be released later on.

its a self buff not a party buff, so the only affected ones are BCs and mages unlike the valkyrie nerf where it affects everyone.

 

its kinda unfair that youre making a good class better(scouts) and a bad class worse (mages)

Just checked, we seem to have lost all Mage Reps. We'll have to show some more attention to that class it would seem. BC's are too strong, they can handle a 5% cut with stride.

I agree with kwayan19. It's common for mages now to go for defensive type of build for obvious reasons, and with that, their damage is even below compared to other class(Let's not even talk about the slow animation on skills which adds up to that). Nerf on aural pierce, granted. Now you want to lower Mental focus as well? As mentioned, I don't care if it was my BC getting hit by the reduction on mental focus, but not my mage. Everyone keeps saying mage are OP (as usual) but how many mage have you actually seen the past couple of months? I've been playing my mage/bc ever since and I can tell you, there's even more BC playing now than mage (based on CD and TG).

BC and mage should get a different mental focus then. Problem with this mage, bcs, fs clerics- buff one almost all 3 are affected. nerf one almost all are affected. Many people complain about bc. but the fs clerics come to defend them because bc is under fs clerics. Thats why they can never fully balance those classes. They should make a way to distinguish a class and not affect all three altogether.

Not saying im in favor of the reduction in enhance damage but as a mage I can still manage  I usually play my mage in wars. Wearing mspeed and dodge items. Most oftentimes i can just run around the enemies. Im a Wind type mage with high dodge I can still do decent amount of damage against champs in war anyways I just hit and debuff then run then go back again

Actually I do better if all have cleric buffs with my build and items. They lose the 400 bonus accu if they are not on stat buffs. More survival for me. Often they target me most coz that what happens in cd. i just run, others follow i slow them. debuff run again and nuke far away. my dodge helps me tank some oncoming damage and run/manashield. Works for me though

Hello,

 

as i am mage lover and currently want to play cd again after 1 year break.

 

i just want to give suggestion to how cd honor point is determined esspecially for mage.

 

Mage always get focused and take a lot of damage. Even though i manage to keep alive and spam aoe, i still got very small honor point. No wonder very few player play mage in CD.

 

Im not sure how its calculated, but i want you to consider damage taken as a factor to determine honor point.

 

Even in the past (around 1 year ago), mage was not getting high point by dealing damage but by healing (i often get highest honor by this build, and another mage starting to use this build too)
