Sorc Lightning skill after Frost Drive

I'm not sure if this was discussed before. I have quit a few times and just got back to playing sorc again. I've played sorc pre-AOV.

I think before when we use frost drive, we can see freeze status on boss, and we can actually do additional damage when we cast lightning skill.

But right now, when I cast frost drive, I can't see freeze status on boss, and I'm not sure if the damage of my lightning after casting frost drive is still double. It doesn't seem to be so. I think removal of freeze on boss was due to imverse freeze. But since freeze is a sorc skill, I think sorc should still be able to use it.

Can you let me know if there is still double lightining damage on boss after casting frost drive?

nope, but Power of Crest gained by using Cold Bolt with Wind Emblem buff will deal double damage for bosses too

Frost diver did not work on bosses before, only the pet freeze did (and it never should have in the first place). It's far from useless, it's one of the most valuable skills in PvP, and it still works on all non-boss monsters.

I guess I remembered it wrongly that frost drive worked on bosses before, I guess before I quit pre-introduction of imverse I never soloed a boss.

Thank you for the info. I'll try it on PVP, gonna look for a low defense class to practice on.
