I had to resort to soul links because mobs are too strong. >.< just using sacrifice and MB mainly when going solo. Any thoughts on how to support while hunting or levelling up? :-)

Well I got to ml 35 pretty easily while grinding, but the leveling spot at the Merchants/Blacksmith/Artisan was an active grinding spot like Muka and did not find that I could link much. I was the only healer so I was just a cure/loot slave.
The move combo that I use when solo hunting is Death Spell/Soul Extortion and Sacrifice.
If you have pets, I would recommend using Embus to freeze the mobs so they don't hurt too much.
