My +7 Malicious Set was worse than my +10 Basis Shadow Armor and +9 Beholder Shoes when I tried it - this was before Flappy Wings, but I doubt it changed.

I also only have a Malicious Thana Hammer, so can't try a Peco one.

As for Tengu Scroll: I rather have the reliable heal from Slims, since I don't have any leech stacked.

My Succubus also refused to proc anything when I tried her, so back to Incubus it is.

Also just got a levelup and right now it looks like that completely took care of my min damage not being enough to oneshot.

Would have been 7 hit short of 100% hit, which can be deadly.

I tried with 3 Hit less (different gear setup) and missed the TC part so often in big mobs it wasn't funny anymore.

Didn't have any in storage. :v

Fresh out of an ET run. I think I'm pretty much done with gearing at this point, might look into picking up some extra stuff for bio5 in the future. Still debating whether Palace Guard or AK helm is better there, leaning towards AK for the time being.

I leveled mainly with Flash Combo in NCT so got to job 60 really quickly which was nice. Really enjoyed leveling it once I got to about ~155 and could one shot, before that it was pretty painful as I barely had enough hit. Definitely one of my favorite classes to level overall.

His role now is pretty much only to tank, but I kept some int/str in case I ever decide to mvp again with him.

Palace Guard Cap is much better if you have a ton of Neutral resistance stacked up already. As for elemental attacks those are usually negated by your armor.

I would also suggest replacing Hero Mask with 3D Glasses and Variants with Lian Shoes.

Reflect gear is not something you default in PVM, nor is it ever necessary outside of BB parties aside from some shenanigans with Kaahi. Only monsters that have the hyper-active flag change target when attacked from range (might be wrong on that, correct me if so), and they won't do that if they had already been damaged after they had engaged a player. That said I can't think of a single MVP that is flagged as such, and majority of hyper-active monsters die in one shot these days. And yes, summoned monsters (unless they come from the GM command /monster) are always hyper-active, which is why reflect gear is 'necessary' for BB parties. Personally I just smack BBs once to prevent them from switching target, or swap to a reflect gear and then back if it's something I don't have enough hit for.

Wasn't sure if the magic would wreck me, especially since I don't have access to GTB. Also not sure how bad knockback is in bio5 or if it's something I don't have to worry about much.

Honestly the Hero Mask was just because I was lazy and we've had some instances recently in ET with the LK's swapping onto the gene which is a pain in the ass.

Oh, you were talking Bio5. I was too busy being triggered over the Hero Mask and missed that, sorry. +8 Siegfried with Alice should be better for that.

It's definitely possible to maximize neutral resist on sura, I'm just debating right now if it's worth it while I don't have access to gtb. So the current set ups I'm going to test are:

I'm not sure what's the best, and I haven't even toyed with getting perfect dodge in this set up with a clergy / croce combo and arch bishop rings of flash but I'm thinking the second is probably better all around until I get GTB, just because I take so little damage from melee attacks anyways I should most likely be trying to stack resistances for the magic damage.

Fire element attacks and magic really hearts there. You could add Leib Olmai in you Palace Guard if you don't mind. Poison element works better in there. Or, you switch your armor depends on the mobs.

DR HBP is not good idea because of the penalty to non-neutral element. +10 DR Etran is must. It can prevent you from knock back. I would use KBC Egir Rings for more Water element reduction.

Athena Earring and Resist Spell Power Pendant shadow pair does neutral element reduction as well.

Celia does dispell and remove your MS, if that happen you may need to switch gears with even higher fire element reduction.
 

After doing a couple of hours last night I actually stopped using MS for the vast majority of the time while tanking.

I think I'm going to take your advice on grabbing two leib olmai's, the howards/flamels/seyren's are probably the most obnoxious things to tank. I don't have much of a problem without MS tanking the high wiz or sorc, pwave is kind of annoying but I'm running like 80 mdef so it's not awful. I think Ashe hits the nail on the head though, maxing neutral redux doesn't help a ton here. I'm really enjoying the Lian shoes and the sigfried helm, allows us to camp hwiz / ab spawns really easily and maximize frags/hr.

Messing around with pdodge set. Looking forward to the mad bunny event to polish this guy off. The heals are actually insane too with clergy set, I'm hitting 23k despite only have 90 base int. 

For reference the robe is agi 3/1 (gotta decard for unfrozen), so will give +10 pdodge after mad bunny event, croce staff will give an additional 8, and clergy will give an additional 2. I'll probably drop the choco out of the valk mant at that point as well and go double carefree archbishop ring.

Few things I'm debating.. Probably will drop ancient elven ears for something more useful (we're thinking of decarding pharaoh from HWHB to put in sunnies), not sure how I'm going to finish stats, it's kind of a mess right now.

Could opt for Siegfried Helm (10 PD) too when going Bio5 or tanking some boss monster that spams hurtful skills. Stacking it with Alice shield should allow you to live through most things.

Seraphim Coronet is a decent option for mid headgear as well, though 23k Heal is already good enough really.

And I guess I'll contribute to this thread too while I'm here.

Without Magnum Break or Fiber Lock, and KVM is only at +13. Keeping stats and gear to myself for now though, sorry!

Also if anybody is willing to lend me their Gold Scaraba Giant's Protections to compare with my current accessories, that'd be highly appreciated.
