We want to keep the AA aspect of the class intact. What we do want to add are tools that help the class in some of its' pitfalls.

 

One Skill we would like to add is a Camouflage skill that makes the Ranger stealthed for a short duration, enough to either set up for the kill or quickly escape incoming danger

As someone who has played ranger, I don't think visibility is their pitfall. They have very little DPS, and can only attack within 40m if they nerf their own movement speed. Players can easily run out of range as 40m is not much. Rangers cannot chase people due to the movement speed penalty of Fixed Firing skill. Also, when rangers "attack at 50m" is completely inaccurate because they have an attack speed penalty from Range Extension, and they are slower than a turtle with Fixed Firing on. The buffs for Ranger have more penalties than benefits, not to mention that their default damage is very low since DEX does not add CAD. 

 

Whatever, don't listen to the players, can't say we didnt try to prevent you from breaking the class.

sure 5k criting rangers in 90 foc with stealth, very good idea just prove tha tu have no idea about classes

Things we want to make passives would be skill that are already spammed whenever to the cooldowns are up:

-Range Extension

-Repairing Launcher

 

We would also like to change some of these wonky korean style names:

 

Range Extension -> Xenoan Optic Augmentation

Repairing Launcher -> Ionic Tech Integration 

 

crossbow for ranger? hitting 3k in cap at 50m per second? noty. i just quit.

 

btw, poor casters.

stealth for ranger and crossbow dmg, no reason to make a shadow runner, might as well delete the class

Stealth for Rangers would be a very short duration, just enough to either get into position or escape. It will not be a toggle on or off like the rogue classes, but rather a very short duration buff.

 

We are talking about 3-7 seconds here.

 

As for the crossbow damage. This is because of the reduction from taking ammo away. Currently the dps is very similar from a launcher with ammo and with a crossbow. Since the ammo is being removed, we have to increase the bass launcher damage towards that of which it would be if it had ammo.

Passive gun skill to shorten Cast time on Gun attacks. - MechArm or something.

To give vengers option of going SS gun attacks or traps. There is alot of gun attacks and none use them cus so long to cast and animations times. this may remove that issue.

 

Would take bombing from ranger put on venger under new passive gun skill (move all other venger gun attacks under it as well)  and would shorten CD but reduce damage. Or add ur new grenade skill here. but thats a new animation and again crap devs can recycle those.

 

As for Rangers.

Should stay AA.

Increase radius of stealth detect.

Add accuracy to buffs as secondary effect much like you have done to SoulHunters evasion buffs adding light.

 

 

Interesting as this was pretty much the direction we were going with.

 

For the Avenger, to compensate with a faster attack speed, we want them to lose some range on their weapons.

We would also like to introduce skills that will enable more skill spam to the class.

 

As for ranger, we would like to reinforce auto attacks as the main source of damage.

We will continue to experiment with the stealth aspect, if it doesn't work we won't put it in, but I think a lot of people are confused about the stealth aspect. It's not if it's like the rogue where you can stealth and start off with a stun or if it's permanent and only unstealthed after an attack. We are making Camo into a more defensive skill so that rangers can quickly get out of a sticky situation. 

 

As for the ammo slot. I don't know why there are people opposing this as overall this is a pretty dated mechanic. Not only do the hunter class have to rely on their overall damage to their weapon with the ammo, they have to also use up inventory slots, go out and buy the best ammo for their level and constantly keep an eye out to see if they have enough. Overall this negatively impacts 3 classes for no reason.

 

As for soul hunter, the preview for the changes will be posted soon.

Alteris, can u fix pet bars while u working on soul hunter? Dominator have many pets and can t see the char....and I have to move them everytime...and that s annoying....everytime a pet die they back in the center...also make them smaller.

People aren't confused, stealth has always been a rogue mechanic and you are giving it to hunters, that is like giving warriors dual swords, oh wait... I don't see any point in making a rogue anymore.

Its only consequent.

 

Giving other Classes a weaker form of "Adamant Mind" should tell us that Skils are not bound to a certain Race or Class anymore.

 

Or at least the Concept of it. 

 

Zerk gets weaker AD + VT 

 

So why should Xenoa not get Stealth ?

 

You can say you don`t like but then think why we need it now a Days and not in the Past 

 

Answer is pretty simple^^

 I been playing hunter class for -_-n years. You sud up all the stats for dmg buffs and remove peneltys for PBF and range extension. Bring back the 7 second stun so rangers can have a chance to compete in pvp again.Also firing gun while moving woyuld be a big +.If not bring back the 7 second stun, New skill like the aoe diversion firing looks cool but ranger class only support and is at a hug disadvantage in 1 vs 1 pvp. Please dont make it unreconizeable to where the class becomes even more dead and useless.It happens to be 1 of my favorite classes so i mean this sincerly.

;((( They don't even know how to use an AA Class, 7 sec stun really? Are u serious?! So why not give mystic domi pets and domi fire rain and healing totems? Stop say -_- please, 7 sec stun and stealth...go make a sin ~.~

10 points skill for 3 sec stun is low (2 skills ranger) 20 points inservible
Ranger specialist long atack really? 1 sec penality and slow movement in long atack why? Need remove no penaliity ranger now specialist noob long atack .
And poison bomb firing many 120 dmg and 1 k penality
I'm remember when I'm choose worh ranger I take because is really specialist long atack but now many penalityes ..
ranger should obtained aventages because don t have aoes, Imcrease hp base him and dmg please ,

Avenger is a magic class, hes skills should be focusing magic weapons like staves or knucks, launcher is only good for slow

Damage from ammo is nothing anyways, everything comes from cad and scad its also usueless ona venger i use just a low lvl ones so i can use slow skill. Ranger is a range slass he should stay behind when others r in front of him if he comes to close and die then hes a bad ranger

Each his own opinion...

 

but is a Sin/SR not able to fight back without his Stealth?

 

does he stop making DMG when Stealth Ends?

 

Every Bob can shoot from behind his Explosive.-A + Poison.-Arrow.

 

Or even better try making the last Hit aka stealing the Kill.

 

A good Sin or SR uses his skills besides only doing Scud + AA

 

Playing Sin is EASY MODE ...SR more clever....

 

But both are more than able to compete even without Stealth.

 

Gesus you Guys are so addicted to your In Game Advantages that you never developed the skills to play/succeed without em.

 

And thats exactly why most Sins (not all) play like a beginner.

 

Oh and ya i have a Sin and SR myself^^

let me guess, you are a sin who doesnt know how to avoid getting seen? wait, no you are a spawn camping sin who is upset that rangers or elems ruin your ability to spawn camp.

no reason at all to remove stealth detect from either of those 2

For Ranger,

 

- Improve the Stealth Detect for 50m at level 10.

- Remove the Penalty of Poison Bomb Firing DNA, the +113 on attack with - 904 on defense is not worth to invest.

- Remove the Penalty on Extend Range Extension or just make it -.5 of attack speed.

- Improve the Headshot Skill it not worth to invest ALWAYS miss.

- Delete the Swift Poison Bomb Firing it's USELESS. PBF is instant cast now.

- Add CAD on Launcher's or make 5 DEX = 1 CAD.

- Change Uppercut Skill cool down to 20 secs the current CD is 40 secs.(or Add DNA to reduce the CD)

- Change Escaping Skill Cool Down to 10-15 Sec (or Add DNA to reduce the CD)

- At the moment ONLY Alacrity Set is the best Armor for Ranger since it give DEX and CAD other high level armor is useless.

- Add CAD on Ranger's Weapon why other Weapon gave CAD and SCAD. Why Ranger can't have that in weapon?

Since Ranger are meant to AA using PB is useless for them.
