A log of refine fails

Sometimes I feel that luck is a finite resourse when playing, specially when Refining/Enchanting.

 

It took me 1 try to get an Erde to +7 using normal Elu. (Nice luck)

It took me 20 tries to get a decent Malandgo enchant on that Erde (EA5/4). (Crappy luck)

It took me 3 HD Ori to get it to +10. (Nice luck)

It took me 48 HD Bradium to +11. (Crappy luck)

It took me 1 HD Bradium to +12. (Nice luck)

 

I feel I could write a thesis about luck in RO with all the stories I've lived and read. XD

Are you mean that after you tried 47 times you got +11 at the 48th times and +12 at the 49 times?

Yeah. It failed 47 times in a row, didn't notice when got to +11 and clicked by accident and got to +12. My sigh of relief was rather loud XD

You think? :v It felt rather crappy failing 47 times in a row and not getting a single EA enchant for over 15 times.

53 refines to get +12? thats -_- retardedly good luck dude....

Used 12 +7 Safe Certs to upgrade GBR to +7. Pertty much all my savings from raffler.  ​

i spent 13 safe to 7's to get a +7 glorious cure wand.  Then spent 98 enriched elu to get it to +6.

Picked up a thanatos one hand staff immediately after and gave up on that cure wand.  Should have listened to helix fossil.  I have learned that its almost always cheaper for me to just buy the upgraded junk than to try to upgrade it myself.

yup sometimes refining goes

i used 4 e.elu to upgrade my HBP to +9 from +7

annoying sometimes

but sometimes RNG goes Yay!

so most of the time, its far better o have someone else do the upgrades then buy from them. unless an item that you want is untradable

No wonder it happens to be one of the most dangerous breaking weapons in existence when comboed correctly.

took 3 attempts (40% chance to refine from 6 ->7)

GOAL:upgrade +4 elven bow to +7 with safe tickets.

+4 -> +5 1st attempt (60% chance to refine) SUCCESS 

+5 -> 6 1st attempt (40% chance to refine) FAIL

+5 -> 6 2nd attempt (40% chance to refine) FAIL

+5 -> 6 3rd attempt (40% chance to refine)  SUCCESS

+6 -> 7 1st attempt (40% chance to refine) FAIL

Ugh, 2 ores to +9 a pair of boots. Tried to +10, and fail. 45 to return to +9 XD

i am a proud owner of 400mil+ (2oriboxes, 100mil worth of cert - for a dumb reason of not opening the 2nd box, and had to +7`d it again after the 1st box.) +5Hurricane Fury. On the other hand, S>+12Drooping Eddga.

WOW so much for my fking luck. knew this would happen. just used 77 enriched elus to get it a net gain of from +7 -> +7. have 2 enriched elus left so i cut it there...

I think the RNG after the server reset is against us. Prior to the mid-week reset, I did GREAT at upgrading. But after the reset, my equipment kept going to +3.
