There is a difference between "reasons why this server sucks lol *insulting pics*" and a smiley face. This was decided by Oda himself, if you have an issue with it you can take it up with him. Making a constructive thread with reasons why you are unhappy in a mature manner would yield a much better result. This is not tirades; if you want to act that way feel free to go post on iRO Wiki.

I removed the image posts meant to antagonize each other - both sides were guilty of this. Being unhappy with the WoE situation is a perfectly acceptable reason to be upset, but until BOTH sides learn to post about it in a way that is not offensive, threads will be locked.

Umm, this thread wasn't related to WoE. (even if people decided to make it about that)

Basically we had a little downtime in WoE and said that the server is an angry/salty place and that it needed some love, so we all decided to spread some happiness. Sure it's the result of our chatter in TS, but that's just because we're friendly folk!

so I kindly invite you all to take your WoE drama to Wiki (where I won't moderate it unless it breaks rules(!)) and hold hands here and sing kumbaya. You can't turn everything into being about WoE, there are many people who play for non-WoE reasons or enjoy being part of a community.

It's still a post made with the purpose of rehashing a locked thread. You could have just deleted the offending posts w/o locking the old thread, but a decision was made to lock it. OP of this thread completely disregarded the ruling of the mod who locked said thread, and by not punishing OP, it has been made clear that it is ok to disrespect the rulings mod make here on this forum. Good to know

Yes please hide behind the community manager's decision.  If you guys can't even hide your own bias then don't even try.  Just say certain people are exempt from following the rules because of XYZ reasons.  At least the community would know for sure instead of randomly stepping on landmines because we said something that a select few people are above the rules don't like.

I never said it was constructive, but like one of the mods pointed up out there if they actually went about it properly it probably wouldn't have been locked in the first place. Personally this thread kinda feels a little like flamebait to me too, but eh lol.
