I just want to know how are they a alike i don't really understand them. When i went to eu dragon saga skill simulator the vulcan has no duration. Is it a new skill for autoshot system? also if it's not which one would be better auto system/tank with 5/5 with ASS upgrade 5/5, or just vulcan 5/5?

The autoshot system just summons a tank that has a detection radius. If any enemy walks within that radius (the range is visible btw) the tank will target it and shoot in it's direction. The upgrade just increases its damage and firing rate.
The vulcan just summons a linear cannon. It just keeps on shooting in 1 direction regardless if there is an enemy there or not.
In my opinon, the autoshot system is soooo much better just because it actually aims for the enemy and it can keep you safe from locks and other such things while you stand next to it in PvP. It can also help keep combos going. The vulcan probably does more damage, but I'm sure that it's much harder to hit enemies with it because it only shoots left or right. But with BattleSquare available now, I'm not sure. The giant cluster of people pretty much guarantees a few hits.
In the end, I'd still go with autoshot.

Auto Shot System all the way, although it doesn't get really useful till the upgrade. Vulcan is only really great for adding on damage for bossing, but it hurts a lot in pvp if someone has been frozen or whatever.

Its worth it to get both imo. I can kill most bosses in <1 min by plopping down a tank and a vulcan and just those take off close to half if not more. Add in gatling, grenades, rpg, xspam, whatever you feel like doing and the boss drops in no time.
Auto shot is much more versatile yes, nothing beats an auto target. vulcan is limited but does delicious damage. I probably wouldn't max vulcan just to save on points but then again grens are never exactly short on points with our lack of necessary skills.

Does the autoshot upgrade give it more attack speed with each level?

Attack yes. Speed? I have no clue. Its SUPPOSED to. Ive seen Tanks that shoot as fast as Vulcan. But my friend's is maxed and it doesn't shoot nearly as fast. I'm not sure how it works.Does the autoshot upgrade give it more attack speed with each level?

Both are pretty good to get, but ASS is probably more useful since it doesn't attack in one direction. I say ASS is good for mob clearing/boss hitting while Vulcan is amazing for boss hitting (bosses normally do not move unless they chase after you OR if they change targets. They also back up and move in closer, but that's about it. It can also be pretty good for party PvP - now you just need to hope someone can stun a person for you.

i dont know, I dont have vulcan on my gren cuz it used to suck. But now after the kryos patch I heard that its range is increased so it might b worth it.
