If you see this as a problem then clearly boosters is even worse and should be fixed. If you have a problem with stat buffers then propose a suggestion. I and I'm sure most of the community does not have a problem with them but that is really a different issue than boosters.Normal accu I get with cleric buff. 2300. With arti stat buffer I get 2.9.. nothing wrong there? Mspeed cleric buff 2k.. stat buffer 2.6k... thats my experience in AA.. Not a big deal when your opposing side got only cleric buffs, right?
Also if they implement the new TG system then stat buffers would have to be inside go buff I'm pretty sure

Reverse psychology
Reverse psychology would mean you are trying to get me to prove myself wrong but that clearly didn't work. Please don't spam this thread with troll comments because I'm sure Leonis or the other mods don't want to read them.

This comment would imply the clan you are referring to wouldn't have the resources to use boosters as well and I'm sure that is not the case at all, considering I have the resources to fund myself and my entire clan with boosters for months, but why would I support a pvp system that is not how Rose is suppose to work? It's stail and not even fair to the new players, non raider/scout players, or players that can't afford to pay for boosters.Lol I smell a butthurt clan crying over to devs
Myself and the other supporters want the original pvp back, why don't you?

Soooo, here is something to think about in regarding with "disabling" boosters from the Training Grounds.
First, there is nothing to gain within the Training Grounds. No honor. No items. It is purely for personal boasting, gloating, and ego stroaking.
Aside from that, if you want us to make it fair, like we do for the PvP matches in the Game Arena, we would need to add a "staging area" just like for the Game Arena matches. Where upon entering, all your buffs are cleared forcibly, and you cannot use any Item Mall items. Then, you can choose to teleport to the Training Grounds, clear of any Item Mall influences.
If this is something the community wishes for, we can probably get it setup for next week, since we already have the structure of how that works done.
What I don't understand is why there's so much attention, pressure, stress, issue, with a PvP zone you have literally zero to gain from in-game. It's a practice zone, so you can play, test things out, and and the sort. There's nothing official, no ranks, nothing that you get to show for being there other than notoriety within the community.
But I digress, if the community wants it to be setup like the PvP GA Matches, we'll set it to task.
To answer this question that seems so mysterious for you, I'll just need to remind you that there is absolutly nothing fun to do at endgame but game arenas, PvP or PvM ones. If you were spending some time on designing and creating for us some new open world zone, being challenging, requiering team play, and having good drop tables, I m pretty sure a fair amount of players would spend their time there instead of waiting endlessly in TG (you could get inspired by moonchilds... or set up some huge zone packed with mobs that would requiere 30+ players actively killing in it to get fully activated and spawn a super boss... i d k), ideas are not hard to have. Most players are in TG because there is nothing else to do while waiting.
You can also add to this, that your actions on the game (farming CPs on regular mobs for exemple) and the fact you never worked on adding clan fields to eldeon and orlo (with proper drop tables and end game content) are also indirectly encouraging the use of TG! Clans have nothing to fightover in the game as you made it, not a single place where clans could war each others and/or compete for valuable drops.
I still keep my hopes up... that maybe one day you'll understand those things and do something about it... even after all those years!
And yes please, make it happen! a Booster free TG! That s what most players are wishing for since ever booster were put ingame. (would be even better if you could generalise it to Booster free pvp zones... as in, never a booster could be used in any pvp zones ingame).

Wow, well good to know we have a glimpse of hope there will be a change this time. What happened over the past 6 years.... The pvp is so broken in TG at the moment.

Alright, about the TG thingy:
As you said correctly it is open PvP and FFA, no rules, no honor, just purly ego stroaking.
I m really against the staging area for TG, this would make PvP there just way too complicated (Me and friends like visitorX wouldn't be able to buff outside and then test inside our builds etc...)
Being unable to use Item Mall Items I wouldn't mind, since I don't rely on it.

I wonder if buff characters would be allowed to stay in the staging area. That may be an option.

Just make boosters more affordable? Like, I want to used them in DG's when I don't have a cleric on team, but 6$'s for 15 'runs' assuming you don't die? No thanks.... I'd prefer something more around maybe 50 boosters for 1 buck. That would be fair, and I'd even go as far as to say that they could be dispellable at that price point.

I am just afraid changing TG that way would remove food usage...
btw 3 people are not the community.
I am sorry but i disagree Feuer, making boosters cheaper would not make them being used less.
Btw, VisitorX, it is not only the boosters that make the damage that high - max charm statbuffers make the meta of TG a whole different than for example in PvP arena games...

I already told you on skype I dont want them being used less, I want them viable for more then just the groups of wealthy clans, and more controlled via dispells.

well you should be able to buff then your character during this entering process, like:
1. You get teleported from Gawain into the Lobby and lose all buffs.
2. In the Lobby you can use your buffers which won't get teleported into tg - they can stay there. (Of course no IM buffs)
3. After getting buffed you can talk to an NPC in this Lobby to teleport into tg or outside.
My concerns:
1. FOOD should still be allowed in tg - you can restrict Item Mall food of course
2. After this change I expect a 1:1 booster refund function where you get all your Item Mall points back you invested into booster, jellies, eggs, stew etc.

The real problem is not that boosters are expensive or need to be bought via item mall and aren't achievable in any other way (although that is part of the problem), but its actually that TG PVP has a meta and the current meta only allows for Raiders and Scouts to pvp in TG. How is this fair to all the other classes and players that do not play raider and scouts? Champions, clerics, mages, artisans, bourgs.... all of those classes die instantly and do not stand a chance. The old pvp meta that allowed all players of all classes to pvp was much for fair and better for the game overall.
I see two options:
Make boosters a 24 hour reusable buff that is the exact same buff as a max charm buffer.
Remove boosters from PVP overall.
If either of those are done then I would suggest allowing players with boosters the option to refund them for item mall points.

The removal of it, even from UW was upsetting, as it's 'use' was 'changed'; if it gets removed from TG... those with stacks of them are going to want to use them somewhere, and the poor inoccent newbies, and lowbies are going to be the ones taking the hit in ruins unfortunately... then people will ask for its removal there, next thing you know, you might as well remove them from the game; If you're going to remove them from PVP zones in general, the only way to make them worth while is to make them last 6 hours for PVM, but even then...
Keep em' how they are.
this topic isn't made to discuss this, idk why whoever started this discussion here, cannot keep this subject in the topic in proposals section.

Too bad if those poor newbies are not raiders or scouts then they can't even stand a chance in TG all that wasted time and effort leveling just to be denied a huge part of fun in the end game content.

I actually read what Leonis said and skipped what others said(sorry in advance if anyone repeated what I'm gonna say, or had an answer for anything I'm gonna say)...but I'm actually gonna have to disagree with Leonis here. I agree on the tidbit part about not "actually achieving" anything but I remember when TG was(maybe still is, I don't go in there really anymore) one of the most fun places to be in the game. Clans would "claim turf" there and fight enemies who entered, practiced and honed their skills and abilties, made new friends/enemies, and the place to go and just ALL OUT WAR. I think if anything, Leonis gave the good idea without even knowing he did.... Maybe there should be a "TG" type place or even just make it so that when you enter the TG we have now... that there is "ranks"....top clans for the month(according to kdr), top players, and award each winner of each thing at the end of each month. Make TG have just a bit more purpose than "boasting or gloating". Note: NOT a Game Arena mode either, just free play that when you enter that map...your kills and deaths are recorded as a player and as a clan member.

I hate to break it to you, but we are not end game yet, not even close... there are like over 100 levels left until we will reach even near end game....
TG, especially, doesn't = end game... TG is just meant for screwing around, and getting killed there by a bunch of booster kids, and then coming to the forums to cry about it insistently, is freaking annoying, more annoying than myself, keep your booster posts in your booster topic...
Having the devs focus on stupid crap like fixing TG, where it's not even broken.. is bleh. --- as x33x would say, if you want to PVP, get off the grass.
