As I have left the game for 1.5 year and just recently got back to the game, I have missed out quite alot of what are the recent changes and updates to Rogue. I would also like to hear out what's everyone thought on Rogue in the current metagame.
Rarely I see anyone plays a rogue nowadays, even if there is any, they do have another account to play on as well.
From what I see in current metagame, perhaps I can relate why:
1. Rogue deals single target burst damage, then Smoke Bomb. Assassin can do the same, but to 10 targets. And then just Shadow Armor and walk away with the speed hack.
2. Knight can do the same, with additional range attack to it. But the squishyness and escape mechanism is replaced with tankiness and survivability in war. Furthermore, Shield Boomerang bounces nowadays reveal hiding classes.
3. AGI which is supposed to be special stat to Rogue's dodge rate has been nerfed, and furthermore current equips do not provide AGI stats. In addition, current tier gears do not provide much AGI stats.
4. You just can't farm sh*t.
On a different note, Rogue was never a popular class to begin with anyway.
Okay, I would like to start a brainstorming session here on how to improve the gameplay with Rogue. Anyone with ideas or thoughts, or if you have any queries regarding the class, feel free to voice out here. Feel free in sharing your character builds as well.
