The GM team will apparently not ban for those things.
Camp omitted the full list and only picked what was legal out to make his own, but the following things are banned by omission:

why would zoomhack be allowed? why?

I dont know any of these. Can someone pass me some cheats so I can get stronger and I can now stop making WoE videos. I feel so stupid when it comes to cheating. So many programs allowed /spin
For now, if any folks want to enjoy default RO setting WoE, feel free to watch my videos. They can be found in my signature

Some of them just help with grindyness of brewing or repetitive stuff like investing, or fix stuff like shake bug or hallucination bug, but zoom hack seems to be the one allowed thing that has a large competitive advantage.

No wonder I got AS from nowhere and a ranger nowhere to be found hahaha

Dunno lol but there you go. It's all stuff you're allowed to do.
Admittedly noshake is all but a requirement nowadays and for Classic, the 1:1 and BM things are a godsend. Hallu as well since kRO seem completely unwilling to provide the fix for it that they've already devved and are just sitting on for giggles.
The rest though? Really iffy. It's not like you can discern between different changes to the GRF without the offending player actually sending in their screenshots or replays. And zoomhack is lolwtf, although it doesn't change the draw distance from what the server provides to the client.

If anything I always wondered why they never increased the Zoom on the client naturally.
But that fact that it is legal... brb! xD

One legitimate reason (and the only one I can see) is seeing gutter lines so you don't get screwed over by Bowling Bash randomly deciding to NOPE on you.Why would any be allowed

- Auto Potion (Meerkats)- GRF edits to remove animations (Seals)- GRF edits to remove / replace player sprites, textures and effects (Kittens, Puppies, etc.)- Free movement onto occupied cells (Cookies)- Maya Purple Vision to reveal hidden players (Rainbows)- Level / Farm Botting (Sunshine)- Vend Botting (Unicorns)- Personal / Community Buffer & Warper Botting (Pixies)- FPS Increasing Programs (Alpacas)- Automatic Targeting (Marshmallows, Dark Chocolate)- Packet Injectors / Editors / Sniffers (Ice Cream, Sprinkles)Feel free to discuss.
Btw, you have a link to campitor's original post of this?

It was in PM since it contained a list of the programs that facilitated those effects. If you can teach me how to quote PMs properly on the public side of the forum I'd be happy to.

It's a PM.
I'm sure you can be linked but it won't do you any good.

Should be able to reply to his post, so it auto-quotes his post and then switch to bbcode mode and just copy paste it to here, then it would be a /quote rather than screenshot. It was in PM since it contained a list of the programs that facilitated those effects. - QoL Client Edits (No Hallucination, No 1:1, BM Fix, No Shake)
- QoL GRF Edits (Big Cards, Aura Colours)
- Hotkey Macros (AHK, etc.)
- Extended Zoom (Zoomhack)
- Cell highlighting / buff indicators / EXP per hour (RCX, SimpleROHook)
Please note that for AHK it should not be used to replicate a auto pot effect. The allowed list may change without warning and bans may occur if that program is no longer allowed and still in use other disclaimers may apply...

None of this should be legal. For pete's sake, the way some people play this, it's not RO anymore, it's just a contest.

zoomhack allows to zoom out more than intended in a castle and some skills have a couple cells more range than what the client naturally allows you click due to the zooming, so you can actually do things you shouldnt be able to thanks to zoomhack

Clearly you don't WoE on a high level or know what those players are like XD

Yeah and it also bugs the hell out of your client. Bit of a double edged sword. Haha puns.
But regardless, the client doesn't draw beyond the 12-14 cells from your character that it's restricted to by the server, which you can actually get to anyway with a suitably high resolution.

I can see how zoomhack can be seen as a way of compensating for lack of higher resolution, and by that extension it can be seen as legal.
However I think we should be making a difference between mere QoL and something that substantially affects gameplay for other people as well. The point of QoL is simply that it makes your life easier, while not substantially affecting other people's experience. In crowded scenarios such as WoE, blending into the crowd, so to speak, effectively becomes quite important. To that end, highlighting a certain character would deny them any opportunities of hiding/getting away which they would otherwise have. Therefore, increasing the size of a player's sprite shouldn't be categorized as a QoL effect in my opinion. The rest of the QoL examples on the list are fairly innocent though, don't really affect others' gameplay too much.

Thankfully it's not QoL. It counts as "editing player sprites" so it's bannable.
