This week we're working on localization and testing for the new Rebel class! We're working on getting it uploaded to Sakray as soon as we can.

1. [THOR] Why WOE 2 in Thor server is adjusted to different time? It started around 56 minutes after the said time.

 

2. [THOR] There are players starting making quests in making godly items. It is suspiciously that some players still have godly ingredients coming from PRO migration. It is obviously that it is impossible to have a complete ingredients at the start of WOE1. Do you screen out godly ingredients during ng 1st step process of making godly items?. Can you revert godly items if those godly ingredients used were not from IRO?

 

On Sunday we had our daylight saving time change in the United States. We set our clocks (including the server's clocks) back one hour. Since many parts of the world do not do the time change this resulted in the time difference you have described here. This was not intended and we will change the time of WoE

 

We don't have automatic screening in place in WoE itself but if we see suspect items we will investigate.

What updates from kRO are coming down the pipeline after the Rebellion update? Have they given any approval to us getting missing old updates from 2011-2012?

 

Episode 15 and Nightmare Toy Factory should be what we are receiving next. We're talking to Korea to nail down what we will actually be receiving.

Can you publish the refine rates for Classic please, or put in the necessary NPCs and items for us to test it thoroughly on Classic Sakray?

 

We aren't comfortable with giving out upgrade percentages at this point, though a upgrader NPC may be possible.

seal quests are open to everyone, you don't need a single god piece to do them >>

Its just a suspicion that some players might have godly items in their inventory and not wiped properly. There's no way in seeing this items since it not view able to everyone unless the owner make a screenshot and view it publicly. What if they are just waiting for WOE1 to be opened and create godly items in an instant if only they have the complete ingredients what i mean. If a single ingredient were from PRO and other ingredients are from IRO. How will the GM handle this kind of issue?

if they're dumb enough to create a godly item the first day woe 1 dungeons open then i will have lost some more faith in the human race.

Yes, I'm not sure if there's still godly ingredients from PRO. I'm just stating some instances in how GM's handles this kind of problems. Thank you necrophiliac. You really are good answering some topics.:)

Hey Oda. :)

Now that iRO has finally received the Rebellion/Rebel data, is there any eta on when it will hit sakray and the main servers? Hopefully before december?

Also can you comment on whether or not the launch for Rebel will come with double VIP bonus event.

 

We may have it up for testing on Sakray as early as today. How quickly it can come onto the main servers will depend on any issues we find during the testing. 

 

We don't have a bonus event planned right now.

Their eta is notoriously inaccurate. And why should a rebel launch be accompanied by a VIP bonus event?

i'm saying that if someone creates a god item the very day the woe 1 castles open up then it's clearly not legitimate. it's also announced server wide so you can be sure that people would report it.

besides, god pieces were on the list of restricted items per oda's blog (http://blog.gravityu...oda_blog/?p=614), so they were definitely checked for. you could check one more time, but since people still have d/c'd inventories and w/e, it's no guarantee that everything would be caught even if they did.

They might delay the creation of godly items if they have complete/some godly ingredients from PRO to make it unsuspicious and legitimate. What if it is announced that a Godly item was made, maybe a month after WOE1 opens. Can we report it and verify the legitimacy of the godly ingredients used in making these godly items.

Oda, can you reactivate all the npcs for the halloween quest you put in last maint? for example, the monster summoning and pumpkin hat npcs are not active this time around:

We put in what scripts we had. In the 2009/2010 archives, we were not able to find the scripts for the original quest with the monster summoning and pumpkin hat NPCs. Since that time we've been much better about archiving things on a week by week basis but a lot of the older temporary quests may be lost to time.

oda, any news about 175 update for expansion class? it will be a delightful news if you can bring kage, obo, suno and rebel to 175 when rebel comes out.
also, any news about raising vend limit on rebel update?

 

No news. We have been pushing for the vend limit increase to come as soon as possible.

oh so that's why, they still having WoE after 10PM... was it because the daylight saving?

 

1. Can you put back the Pumpkin Witch Hat please. i want to make candies for my babies.

 

Yes it was daylight saving time. We will be adjusting the time this week. 

 

We won't be adding more Halloween event things this year.

How about working on FIXES over than bringing the new class just because of hype?

Insist, bother them, get them crazy if it needs so, but get these damn fixes PLEASE.

Severe Rainstorm and Chain Lightning pos bug since ever.

Camouflage not preventing single target skills. - Since 175 patch

Flip Tatami not avoiding ranged attacks(the skill is TOTALLY USELESS now) - since 175 patch

Release Ninja Spell,Wind Charm, is NOT causing Deep Sleep. - since ever

Charm Fire not properly increasing Explosive Dragon damage, with it should be as strong as flamming petals but there's barelly 10% increase in the damage.

Kunai Splash, its not using the same formula as kRO(is not considered ranged attack), makes the skill tremendly weak and unviable. - since ever

Shield Spell lv3, using it makes you freeze even wearing Marc card, wich is tottaly wtf.

---

Please make Temporal Boots wearable to Expanded classes( SN, K/O), stop nerfing expanded. :D

We have reported many of these to kRO. Their pipeline for delivering fixes is much less efficient than their pipeline for delivering content like quests, items and new classes.

Hi Oda, do you have an update on the obb/opb drops list?

Also when are the costume boxes leaving the cash shop?

 

I have the list, but it's entirely in item DB numbers, which we'd have to translate to Item names first.

Adding to this, manhole/warp portal should be disabled here too.

This would fix almost all possible ways to harass others.

What ever became of the headgear and card recycle system?


Thank you for drawing renewed attention to my proposal ^^

Oda or camp said they liked it and its possible to forward the suggestion onto kRO, but I never heard anything after that. I suspect the ball was dropped, but oda or camp can confirm.
