A Post Regarding Client Edits and Third Party Programs

I don't use edits at all, but if there were two I would love to be officially made it would be bigger cards (just slightly bigger as to notice them over junk) and increased zoom (to feel less packed in tight/small maps).

With that said, using none at all is still fine, but they would be neat additions.

Maybe a list of specifically OK edits would be a better way to go about it.

For example they could post something like:

GRF edits that are ok:

 

- Big card

- Cast circles

- Aura colours

- Minimaps

 

Anything that falls outside of these specific edits could be grounds for suspension

 

They've already said zoom hack and bigcard mod were fine on a previous thread(wichim not gonna quote cuz im on phone and im lazy to search for it lol)

half of those should be illegal I don't understand why they're being allowed in the first place :/ this is bad. Bigger cards and mini maps are clear advantages over the vanilla client. This is a clear gap between newbies and vets :x badbadbad.

Just my noob guess. It is because most "veterans" already been using al sorts of edits to get advantages. Removing it will make them rage quit just like how they've never been able to remove Gramps.

So this set of legal cheats goes out for those that can and are capable of doing/using/programming/editing.

And seems noone can ask how/if/when about it.\

Sounds about right along the path of bots, which you lets farm and vend on the market.

Good, let the babies rage quit! Those weaks sauce cheaters need all kinds of crutches to play after all this time? I've been playing for over 10 years and I still have the vanilla client. Clearly these people aren't as good as they think yhey are if they need to cheat to compete. Wash the server, I am done with this pathetic filth.

Oh I just noticed this... no suspension for him? That great honor is reserved for the chosen few <3 i mean that was clearly deliberate and in no way a misunderstanding... yet I was punished and apparently this is ok.

no I won't let it go until an apology lol. I'm going to keep pointing out the difference in treatment until it's acknowledged. Treat the volunteers equal or better... not worse.

Then maybe we won't keep ragequitting because of stress... Just seeing this treatment difference alone made me take back my decision to return.

All forms of GRF edit should remain illegal. Or I'll possibly ragequit and never return until I get what I want.

They should provide an official DL via iWiki for these modifications for those who wish to use them, if they won't ban for it. You can't tell people "This is allowed but we can't tell you how to get it", that's where you're giving an advantage to people with better resources.

I don't think gray map should be allowed. It is a very advantageous edit, more than just a qol. In mvping it allows you to bypass the environment where one can be hiding the mvp or tomb (this is a strategic move), and in woe you can use it to navigate through the castles without the obstacles of walls, stairs and other environmental disabilities that one without gray map would be adhere to facing. It can be compared to editing a sprite to be bigger, which is not allowed.

You cant police those who use edited clients (assuming any client edits were illegal) but when they need supports and a screenshot is required ie to verify MVP card reporting a matter, they cant get a support because by submitting a screenshot of edited client is a self defeating purpose. 

But we all know WP doesnt really care anyway. There has been couple WOE videos of illegal edits and I dont think those cheaters get banned at all
