[Chaos] Secret Odin Gift Event (2015): Phase 2

• Players can still volunteer to be Secret Odins for unclaimed players until DECEMBER 24! It is highly recommended that all Secret Odins obtain their gifts by that date.
• GIFT EXCHANGE WILL COMMENCE ON DECEMBER 26. All participants are to meet around the sleigh near Lutie's entrance to do the trades. You will be giving the gifts directly to your chosen player(s). Players who are not claimed are free to attend the event if they choose to. Christmas fireworks, Santa Suits, and Santa Hats are encouraged.
• There will be an audio side of the event taking place in the iRO Community RaidCall's Multimedia Room channel. Feel free to join the RaidCall for the complete experience.
• As we want to limit the amount of lag everyone gets, please DO NOT USE SKILLS during the event. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Now that we've got ourselves a list of (43) players and there are still people volunteering to be Secret Odins, we will now start planning the actual event.

During the event, I'll read off everyone's in-game name (hence why I required it for gift registration) from THE LIST. Here is how the event will progress:

• First, I will read off the in-game name of all claimed players. I'll be typing the character's name in-game as well as read it aloud in the iRO RaidCall. I will NOT be calling out the names of the Secret Odins so all Secret Odins should pay attention to which player names I call out.
• At that time, both the player and the Secret Odin will walk up to the sleigh to perform the exchange.
• Once everyone has received their gifts, players may then mingle and get to know their Secret Odins. Christmas music will be played in the iRO RaidCall
• HAVE FUN!

As you are all well aware, the iRO community consists of not only players from the USA but all over the world from Asia to Europe. Therefore we must now decide on a good time (PST) when we can all meet. I know some players have suggested having the event split up into several meeting times to accommodate all players, but I would prefer it if everyone met at one set time to make it easier for Secret Odins to meet and gift their players. (In case players are available for a certain time, but their Secret Odins aren't.)

If there are Secret Odins that cannot attend the event, you may schedule private meet-ups after December 26 to give your gifts. I will follow up on Secret Odin reveals in January.

anything but 3pm~6pm pst is good for me (guild secret santa and other stuffs)

December 26 is on a Saturday, dunno if you guys want to set the time around WoE2 or not.

Its 9:30pm for me

Classic WoE both are past 2am for me though.

TE at GMT+7 ends around 1 AM, MONDAY.

But this will happen on December 26, Saturday. Meaning the following day is Sunday( lol?), so i don't think there should be any issue with late time for asians since its still weekend, unless they dont have weekends there dunno 

 

TE time for chaos, its just a few hours later for some latin american countries, its 3pm here in brazil :v, like evening on europe, and night/late night on asia/australia (may be late, but its still sunday so who cares :u)

Whenever I wake up from my Boxing Day dinner nap PST.

Okay, so far it seems 8-9 PM PST will work. Anyone have any objections or other suggestions?

2am is fine for me(8pm pst)

i dont mind 2am. holidays allow me to stay late oye! 

8PM PST works fine for me!

The currently proposed time is perfect for me, 2pm on a holiday!

 

I hope nobody suggests a time that's too outlandish for PST since the host needs to be comfortable with it as well~

I can live with 8pm pst but an hour or so earlier would be preferable since its 12am for me.

7pm or 8pm pst sounds good for me too & gives a break after WoE for those who do it
