First of all i thank you for taking the time to read this.

In this topic i want to talk a bit about the Damage the Overlord does but it doesnt suit his class. All is tested at the monster at the Advanced Winida Plains!!

I got myself a lvl 85 Overlord with a +20 Black Dragon Lord Nature Blade and if i buff myself i got around 57k attack.

The Problem is the Damage that an Overlord deals even if he have that high damage shown in his character information.

The damage i deal with pressing x is between 13.000-25.000, so the damage i deal is around the minimum of my weapons damage.

When i'm buffless i can deal less damage (around 10.400) than my minimum weapon damage (10.942).

Compared to an Invoker (minimum magic damage=around 4.700, maximum magic damage=around 11.500) deals without any buffs with pressing x between 9.000 -> even 17.000 damage.

The damage margin that is used for the x hits of an Overlord also apply to the skills. If we have a look at the Gust slash: 260%+620, without buffs the average damage is 32.000.

So if i do the maths (32.000-620)/2.6, the attack that is taken for the skill is around 12.000 and that is just ridiculous.

This happens to nearly all Overlord skills. Especially if we have a look at the skill Demolition Charge:1100%, without buffs the average damage is around 80.000 and if i divide that with 11 the attack that is taken for that skills is around 7.200 which is even less then for the Gust slash and even 4.000 less then the minimum damage of my weapon.

To summ it up there are two possible mistakes, the first is that the despcrition of the skills are wrong, the second is that the damage should be higher but the issue is in the game code.

Feel free to share your experience

It's neither, the skills are correct and the game code is correct. It's just most skills go off the weapons base min-max and not the final enchanted min-max.

But this only count for the warrior classes or is there another class that has the problem??

not only the skills also the x attack of me suffer a lot, especially because i build my Overlord relied on attackspeed(can reach 500%) and that is just annoying when you attack with x but one bubble from lvl 60 Summoner with a +20 undead bone weapon deals around the same damage as you do

Not every skill just most skills.

X attack and X attack modifiers(Double shot, AAS, Diffusion Cannon, Smart Shot, etc) go off final enchanting Min/Max

The Invoker damage i was talking about was without diffusion cannon or any buffs

I`m not much of an "x-attacker", but as far as demolition charge goes... it is notorious for it's low dmg output. I've always wished that a day would come when they would change this, but I fear that we will never get to see that day.

You can argue that it's not a coding problem, not a skill description error etc. etc. and that it does exactly what it is supposed to do, but ultimately, that just means that this skill was meant to be useless. Cause that's what it is right now. Its a shame... the animation looks great, and the concept is good too.

i need all buffs (grizzly Power, Wild Rage, annihilation, Bloody roar) to have a 600k crit, but if all would be right it should deal around 900k without a crit

:p_sad:

Does anyone have an exact list of which skills in the game are affected by this (All classes list)? As in which skills get the damage from the base?
