I think your analogy is a little off. Everyone in RO is playing the game, thus everyone is a "citizen" of this "country". Saying that only VIP members are allowed to vote, is like saying only the rich are allowed to vote. Is that fair? 

 

Also, 7USD is quite a bit to some other people. It might not be a lot for you, but it might be quite a bit for others who are playing RO in their free time, who have other commitments, ie bills, groceries, rent. As for 70 eggs, that's a minimum of 35 breakfasts without eggs!

 

I think you're taking the guy's 70 eggs the wrong way. He's just saying that he could spend that 7USD to get 70 eggs. =/ It's just to show equivalence!! Opportunity cost, ya know? 70 eggs is probably more substantial than 30 days of extra boosts on pixels which you won't be using 24/7!

ya everyone is a citizen of midgard but there are VIP and non VIP, and in real life your right everyone is allowed to vote but who do you think the politicians listen to? the VIP that funded his campaign or the masses? cos you know what if the politicians dont listen to the elites well the wealthy can always pack up and liquidate all assets and what happens next? well that gonna be 80% of the population going jobless and economy goes back to stone age. and that goes with any game they need funds to run i or maybe your willing to buyout warp portal and run the servers for free, take out the kafra shop and VIP lets see how long you can run a server, same as with economics take out those with the cash and everything comes crumbling down, so again who should the politicians listen to and who should WP listen to

See.. That's where you go wrong. Your whole Economic lesson up there. Maybe you should start with learning up why companies invest in foreign countries, and the constraints they have. And electing a president, is different from who he obeys. Theoretically, he is voted by the people, for the people, and the government works FOR THE PEOPLE. Cuz, guess what? There's nobody else to work for if not for the people. So who should he listen to? Everybody. I don't know what corruption you have in your side of things, but essentially, it should be that they listen to THE PEOPLE. Not SELECTIVE GROUPS, but EVERYONE. (though, you can't really please everyone, so it's technically the majority, in this case)

Also, Like Necro said. Just because I'm not a VIP now, doens't mean I won't ever be a VIP. There might be non VIPs now who have maxed 175/60 on alll their characters, just waiting for a change in summoner to reVIP. Ever thought of that, though? Probably not. So what... Are you saying that 14 year old students who are playing RO should get a job, and start paying for a game? What kind of personality are you instilling in these children? Asking them to waste money just to have a small say in a game? Should we really be teaching our children to waste money that way? It would probably be more beneficial to pay for other essential things in life. How'd you know that the people complaining that 7USD is expensive, aren't working? They might have some financial issues that you don't know of, and are working very hard to make ends meet, but play RO during that few hours in a week that they have. Who are you to judge?

What are you talking about? For voting alone, every citizen should be allowed to vote and have same amount of impact. That's how vote works in Democracy. Whatever you're talking about is completely different matter. If they don't get votes from majorities of middle class, he won't even get elected. Before all those lobbies and Super Pack or whatever, theres no chance of even grasping so called "elites" before they get elected. 

That's how voting works. That's why politicians always find the balance between high and middle class(way more people). I don't know where you get these idea but VIP is not about being an "elite" or "better than others." You're just paying for more convenience.

14year old students yeah they dont have work but im sure theyr allowance is more than the subscription, in the 90s allowance is already like 10usd a week nowadays 2usd only buys you a burger meal from mcdo and your not even happy with that meal

and besides for students who cant afford to pay then maybe they should just study more, graduate with honors then get a high paying job cos if theyr more focused on playing and currently they dont have money to pay 7usd, priority for these ppl aint playing but instead focus on how they can improve familys future or else they will always be stuck with the issue of always not having enough greens to pay for something they want

i saw my 1st 20k usd at the age of 17 started with 100usd just by playing the stock market and that was since i was 12 so its not impossible cos 100usd is just like a weekend party at the bar ppl pay nowadays and thats in the philippines, and from all the kids im seeing today everybody has tabs cp thats worth more than what we had before and lol my kids allowance besides his food at the age of 10 is already 20usd a week so i dont believe that ppl playing games dont have money
